What truly elevated the dining experience was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, creating a warm and inviting environment. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their enthusiasm for the food they serve was contagious.
The perfect culmination of the meal was the homemade tiramisu. In a world of often-disappointing dessert menus, Pizzeria Omaggio's tiramisu is a revelation. This is not a mass-produced, overly sweet confection. Instead, it is a beautifully crafted, traditional dessert with layers of delicate ladyfingers, rich mascarpone, and a perfect hint of coffee. It was, without exaggeration, the best tiramisu this diner has ever had.

Read moreMy friend drove out of town with her kids,6 and 7… the girl was calm but the boy was a bit curious and very excited to be in Charlotte . They wanted pizza so we came here. Honestly the food was very good. We had salads and pizza for the kids. I’m giving a 3 star because I would honestly like for you to re-train your waitress on diversity, on how to be polite to customers and not judge people so much it shows. Anyway, for anyone who’s visited here, you know how close the chairs are in there, it’s a beautiful intimate, posh setting. So you can kind of overhear conversations. Well, by some stroke of luck for me, my card declined. My fault, I should have checked which card I gave to her. Anyways, she comes back, speaking on top of her voice and these were her exact words-“YOUR CARD DECLINED-IT SAID INSUFFICIENT FUNDS”…. You know, I wasn’t even surprised or embarrassed, I felt the vibe the moment I walked in there that we were not welcome. The “insufficient funds “ she mentioned felt like a deliberate attempt to embarrass me. That makes me very sad , that intoday’s world, where kindness should abound, people like her still serve. I get it, maybe I didn’t realize how posh the place was before I walked in with my crew. Maybe we should have dressed properly and not in my after work scrubs.I really don’t know what warranted that judgement , or maybe because my friends son wouldn’t sit still? I’m trying to figure this out here. But anywayyyy… Please retrain that girl or whoever told her it’s ok to say that and make your customers feel some type of way. Thank you. This said, the food was very good and thank you for that as well. However, it’s not nice walking into a place where you feel like you’re not welcome, especially when you’re with kids and they can tell you they felt the...
Read moreStumbled upon this place for dinner a few nights, and was blown away. The quality of the food was incredible and our server was able to make really great recommendations. The restaurant itself is comfortable and intimate- it doesn't feel stuffy even though the food is extremely fresh and well-prepared which is the ideal. The decor is contemporary but not overly design, which all adds to the comfort and keeps the focus on quality. Upon our server's suggest we tried the Eggplant Parmigiana, the texture was crispy on the outside with melt in your mouth eggplant on the inside. We also tried the Emilia pizza on a whim after our server mentioned the freshness in the 'white' pizzas and were really pleasantly surprised by how well the flavors blend together. My only suggestion would be to bump up the chili flakes- the heat is great when you catch a bite with it, but the chili flakes were mostly in the very center of the pizza. We also tried the affogato, an item we order whenever it's available, and the espresso was rich and full-bodied, and the gelato was perfectly creamy. It was all very affordable considering how high quality all of the ingredients were. It's obvious that every detail is considered and the overall experience was wonderful. One of the few places in Charlotte that exceeded...
