This place needs to be boycotted. The fact that it is located in the Charlotte Airport, it maintains customers. I visited this location for the first time, of course, due to flight delay, and it makes limited choices for dinner. Long wait time for seating even though tables were available but not cleared from previous diners. Finally sat down ordered a simple rum and coke waiting 15 minutes only to have the waiter take time to bring to the table, saw it was made but just sitting there with no urgency to bring it and it wasn't correct. I ordered my food only to wait an extremely long time. The couple next table sat down after me ordered their food and drinks paid and left. My food came in to go box, I didn't order to go. So why not in regular dishes? See the photo of the tip left. This is a management issue lack of care. Boycott Boycott boycott. The only bright side, one of the bartender made an effort to help seat seeing the hostesses overworked trying to get customers seated. #POOR MANAGEMENT #BOYCOTT

Just left this restaurant in the Charlotte airport. Normally, I don’t get irritated when sitting and not being acknowledged. However, seeing that there were more staff than the 2 other customers in there (see photo) and the bartender sat on her phone and walked away instead of greeting me, I would say pass on this place. I saw servers but none greeted me. I was simply ignored. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 2 decades, so I know it’s basic serving etiquette to make sure your customers are greeted within the first minute if possible. (It also means I tip well.) Eating at the airport is expensive. Why go to a place where they don’t even acknowledge your existence in an empty restaurant?

I get the negative reviews regarding the service. We had a similar experience; had to wait ages for a table with plenty of empty tables available. Just no host/hostess to seat people. Meanwhile, there were plenty of employees hanging around. Bad system and or management. That said, once we were finally seated we were well taken care of, and our server was friendly. The food was ok, not great. However the burnt ends were worth ordering. Overall, a typical airport restaurant experience, but they need to pick up their game given the emergence of more and more fine dining restaurants at airports. I’d go back again, but only because there are not a lot of choices in the concourse.

The bbq could be good, I do not know, though, being it never arrived. Had a layover in Charlotte figured I'd spend it eating some local BBQ. Ordered a local craft beer on draft, the pork plate with a side of mac and cheese. The overall experience was poor. The server came back after I ordered and mentioned they were out of the beer I chose but had a similar draft available. Fine by me , except 5 minutes later , she came back with a canned 19oz beer and offered no explanation before walking away to another table. I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for the food that never arrived. Numerous other customers came and went as I waited. Finished my beer and decided I had waited long enough. Cashed out, voiced my frustration, and left. The server and bartender offered apologies explaining they just opened recently. No excuse, really the restaurant was not that busy. Definitely will avoid next time I'm in...

This place is trash. Don’t go. Stood in line for a while to get in, hostess finally seated us without smiling or saying a single word to us, dropped the menus and just walked away. It was hot as hell inside the restaurant. There are QR codes where you place your own order…but every time I tried to check out it just gave a “Sorry! Ask your server for help” message. We waited for legit almost 15 minutes, never even got water, the server lady looked at us one single time and just said “I’ll be with you soon” and then after waiting for 5 more minutes without getting any service we finally just got up and left. They seemed busy but also well-staffed. There was just tons of staff standing around seeming to be taking the “that’s not my job to do XYZ” route. This place isn’t even MID…it’s god awful. Sorry for leaving this Karen review but when service is that bad, you gotta let others know to...
