Red Star Lounge — Restaurant in Charlotte

Monday Morning 8/8/22 had gotten off to a really rocky start in West Palm Beach. Once reaching Charlotte I stopped off at Red Star mostly just to take a breath. The lady tending bar gave outstanding service. I wish I had caught her name but she was hilarious and immediately turned my day around. I know first hand that working in a tourist trap can be a bit nerve-wracking but she never missed a beat. Sold me an expired salad through their automated kiosk that was expired and had a foul smell. No employees were operating the bar for a half hour to give me a refund and when they finally showed up they said only a manager could refund and they were away for a while.

They said I could exchange the salad for something else so I picked up a cheese and grape tray and it had molded grapes.

I wish I could give 10/10 stars! George is attentive, personable, & made my delayed flight (s!!) out of CLT a much more enjoyable experience! Not only was he able to keep up with all of the new faces that popped up at the bar; he remembered by order & wished me a happy (early) birthday when checking my ID.
