We celebrated Cinco de Mayo here, but we really came for the Honduran and Salvadoran food more than Mexican. We got way too much food and I'm still in a food coma. We ordered a pork and cheese Pupusa, Baleada #5, chorizo tacos, the Salvadoran steak, tres leches, and horchata. For $6 I thought the Baleada would be small, but it was huge. It could have been my whole meal. It was all fantastic. My favorite thing was the Pupusa followed very closely by the Baleada. The tacos were great, but they didn't stand out as much to me since I don't see baleadas and pupusas on as many menus around. The sweet treats were great. I loved both the tres leches and the horchata. I think the tres leches was the best I've had. They aren't doing curbside right now, so you'll need to order over the phone and go inside to pick it up. They also can't take payment over the phone, so you have to pay inside. These weren't the best for social distancing, but luckily no one was inside when we were there. The Batch Maker recommended this for Honduran food and I'm so glad she did. We loved it and it's not something you see much around Charlotte!

Visited with a friend for lunch. It took a while to figure out what to order because their menu has so many choices. We were there for lunch so went with lunch specials. We shared the plaintain empanada and the Honduran style empanada to start. For lunch I had Bistec Ranchero and my friend had the shrimp burrito. Portions were huge for lunch. My steak had great flavor as did the tomato sauce it was cooked in. Corn tortillas were thicker than I am used to but tasted very flavorful. My friends shrimp burrito had a lot of shrimp with a white sauce on it. Looked very good and heard no complaints from my friend. My favorite thing was the plaintain empanada though. A must try and would be good as dessert. Great plaintain flavor and filled with a cream cheese I think. Service was a little lacking but nothing that was unreasonable. We were in and out quickly for lunch. Just waited a while for our check. I will be back for lunch and probably dinner sometime.

What a cool place to try some Central American food. They serve Honduran, Salvadorian, and Mexican dishes. I choose a Honduran platter and everything I ate on that plate was perfectly cooked and tasty. It was hard not to eat that food with no tortillas lol (I’m Mexican) . I really recommend this place to people that want to try some delicious Central American food. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs.
