Nick's Cafe At South Park — Restaurant in Charlotte

I LOVE NICK'S! I work in the building and Nick's is a daily go-to for me! Not just for the food but for the family atmosphere, fun, laughter and LOVE that's shown to EVERYONE that comes in! The owners and waitress knows everyone by name, they know most people's favorites and they even know the stuff my doctor has encouraged me to stay away from and help me to try and do better with my health!

I love that they bring their daughter in when she's on break from school, because what better way to teach and show your child what it takes to earn money to get the things they need and want in life and what a wonderful way to demonstrate hard work and the type of work ethic you need to have in the real world! And these people WORK HARD from the front counter to all the staff waiting tables, prepping, cooking and delivering orders to hungry customers!!

Nick's has always been a go-to for me since I work in the building, but even more so since Teddy and his family took over. I use a walker to help get around and Teddy purchased and installed a cup holder for my walker because he was worried I'd spill my drink on my way back to my office. These are good people who serve great food in a casual and family friendly atmosphere. My whole office looks forward to summer and school holidays because we know their daughter will be in the restaurant. She's always a bright spot in our sometimes crazy and hectic day. Ran across this little place when I was down in that area for a meeting. Didn’t really expect much but once I got in there, I realized that place really knows what they’re doing. First off the service was magnificent. Greeted with a smile and very attentive. The food choices were very good. While I went with the basic breakfast plate I have to say that everything on it was done perfect. I’m pretty picky about my bacon and this was done exactly the way it should be. crispy, but not overdone.
