Avoid getting food at the airport from this location. It is slightly priced higher than your typical panda express and they are very stingy with the portion of food you get. They put little food on your plate and the staff is quite unpleasant to deal with. I had a horrible experience at this panda express location. If i didn't already love panda express as a whole, i would never eat there again but i know panda express isn't at fault here but just this particular location is. I ordered bigger plate and they fit all 3 entrees and my side in one box. That's how i know i was being cheated. Every panda express i have visited in the country, typically put 2 entrees and 1 side in the box and the last entree in the small red box because they give you good portions. I typically go to panda express for their food portions and i was definitely let down at this location. I complained to a guy who seemed to be the manager, when i was checking out that i was served only 1 spoon of rice and he told me thats their standard practice and that there was nothing he could do and that if he was to add a little more rice, he would have to charge me. This was beyond ridiculous. I have visited over 30 panda Express locations this year alone(yes thats how much i eat there) to know he was lying and was very unaccomodating. Lesson learned. So i will advise you strongly avoid this location. The panda Express at ATL airport is way better and treat you nicely compared to this Charlotte location....
Read moreI don't get it. You have a line of 12 customers waiting and waiting to pay. Food has already been boxed up. Everyone just waiting to pay. The cashier was having issues with a 10% discount that wasn't taking. She goes to get the lazy manager who walked from the back like a turtle (who made sure to bring her drink with her) dragging her feet the entire time. No sense of urgency, no apologies, no smile. Customer is taken care of. Instead of her jumping on the 2nd register to help the customers already waiting, she starts getting chummy with an employee chatting it up and just looking at the food. Then a few moments later proceeds to take orders for even more customers. No!!!!! HE has it all under control. We are waiting for the cashier to ring us up! Don't give even more of us food that's gonna be cold. Go to the front and help them check out.
C'mon you have to be smarter than this. Perhaps she doesn't like running register. Maybe no till. She has to have been trained on the register you would think. She could have at least assisted the cashier. Something, anything, to get the line moving faster.
IMO if there's a line of at least 10 customers deep and the manager can't help out, she needs fired. It's a busy airport. I get it. If she was paid based on number of customers instead of hourly, how fast you think she'd be getting customers...

I was at the CLT airport and was delighted to see that there was a Panda Express in my terminal because it is my favorite place to eat. I absolutely understand that airports are busy and I expected wait in a line, which was no problem. The problem arose when I noticed there was no chow mein out and asked how long the wait would be. The employee told me fifteen minutes. I told her that was no problem and that I would wait. When I returned fifteen minutes later, there was still none. I asked again how long it would be. This time the cook in the back said give him five minutes. That was no problem. I waited ten minutes before returning just to be safe. I went up for a third time and there was still none. I asked how long it would be, and after asking four different employees, the one I was speaking to said nothing. She just stared blankly at me. I asked how long it would be and she finally said, “I don’t know, a long time.” At this point there were 6 people standing up front or in the kitchen. Most of whom, appeared to be doing nothing. At least one of them was a manager. I left without food, very frustrated and ended up eating somewhere else. I will not be returning to this panda and I do not recommend...
