I placed a mobile order. As I was walking in, the lady asked if I had a mask and I told her no but I was just picking up my order. She proceed to give me one, and I took it. I was in there all of 3 mins, because they had to fix my drink. But within that 3 min time frame, 3 other people walked in, of Caucasian decent, and no one said anything to them about having a mask. It’s very unbalanced and very suspicious that out of the 4 people that walk in without a mask, only the black person is spoken to. And there was a Caucasian lady sitting by the window without a mask on, just staring. I’m not sure if the assumption is that since I’m black, I’m not vaccinated. I also wasn’t aware that the local laws had changed again to where even fully vaccinated people have to wear a mask. But it left me feeling very uncomfortable, embarrassed, and slighted, to know that I was the only black person called out about having on a mask. And I watched two of the other Caucasians walk out with their drink and no mask...

My wife tried to order "the apple cider drink", and was told that they have "apple juice". We were both a little confused. I asked if they had an "apple drink of some sort" and was educated on Starbucks lingo, what makes an apple spiced drink and so on. In short, it felt less like an education adventure on Starbucks, but more of an opportunity to make us feel belittled. As my wife said "I don't need to feel like an idiot for not knowing their drink selections off the top of my head". The guy could've shown a little more service industry class. Like the last reviewer experienced...the night shift is horrible. I'll be glad to stick with local coffee shops...spiced apple...
Read moreI made an online order for a coffee and one of the lunch boxes. The coffee I got was perfect as usual but when I looked next to it my lunchbox wasn't there until I looked closer and saw a card that was there as compensation because they didn't have it. It would have been fine but the lunch box was $8 and the card was for $4 so when I asked the people behind the counter they said they could not fully reimburse me for the lunch box that I had not received. Overall I lost only $4 however the fact that they refused to give me back the money that I spent on something they did not have (and did not mention that the didn't have online) left a bad taste...
