I came here on 4/25/21 around 12:30pm. I’m visiting the area and got hungry. With Doing keto, my options are limited. I’ve heard they had a keto crust and decided to try it. They have an assembly line plan from taking the order until cutting it. Alex took my order. I ordered a 2 top pizza with keto crush. My toppings was pepperoni and sausage. Bri started making my pizza. I got classic red sauce and mozzarella cheese. Another lady (wasn’t wearing name tag) finished making my pizza. I got oregano added on the end
Note: My total was $13.26.... keto is so expensive :( It was $4 extra for the keto crust. It would’ve only been $8.25 i think, if I had gotten regular crust.
While I was waiting for my pizza to cook, I went to the bathroom. It was clean and smelled good. I even took a selfie! Lol.
When I got out, my pizza was ready. I decided to eat inside. The pizza was warm. I wish it was a tad hotter, but not a huge deal. Overall, pizza was good. I’m not sure how I feel about the keto crust. It’s just.. idk. Tastes different. I made homemade pizzas using low carb tortillas at home and they’re amazing. This crust taste keto hahahaha. Staff was friendly. No complaints. They have hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for you to use. They are allowing dine in seating, both inside and outside.
Before leaving, I checked in via Yelp and A coupon for a free drink popped up. I went to the register to redeem. The first guy didn’t know what to do so another lady came. The lady, Mel, asked if there was a QR code to scan and I said no then showed her the screen with the coupon. She said they don’t accept yelp coupons unless there’s a code to scan... She checked through the system and said she didn’t see anything. That’s very unfortunate. Why have coupons and can’t use them... I’m sure there is a way to comp it. I mean, it was only a fountain drink. This def cost...
Read moreThe place itself has a fantastic atmosphere! Very laid back and easy going. Plenty of seating and you can sit inside or outside. The workers are very helpful and patient. One interesting thing... there are no straws.... you get a cup with an opening for you to drink out of.... kind of like the opening of a soda can..... a little way to help our planet.... I liked that 😁😁😁
The pizza itself was good! Every pizza is thin crust, personal pizza sizeish, and if you make your own you can put as many toppings as you want and the price doesn't change. But it's kind of like subway where you pay for your drink and sides and desserts separately. There is no combo meal whatnot. So yes the ambiance and location are good, price is a little bit on the higher side but worth it for made to order pizza. Yes, the pizza is good. It was nice to have something more homey and fresh to eat.
Why did it get 4 out of 5? I am handicapped. I sit in a wheelchair because I have a cancer tumor in my left knee. Finding a handicapped spot was impossible... there were TWO spots near the restaurant. That's it. TWO. And this is a shopping center so one would think there would be more. The other handicapped signs were out at the back of the parking lot. Dead serious. So we had to just find a normal spot. But once I was in my chair we noticed that there was NO incline for me to get up on the sidewalk anywhere near the restaurant. Infuriating!!!!!! My husband had to wheel me all the way down to the other end of the shopping block to the only incline there was for me to get up on. You would think that the restaurant themselves would think about...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting Blaze and I enjoyed it. I realize that you can customize your pizza anywhere, but that process that Blaze has established along with the freshness of ingredients sets them apart from a typical pizza joint. I got the "Green Stripe" - white sauce, chicken, roasted red peppers, garlic, finished with arugula and pesto. I also added oregano and a sprinkle of sea salt. chefs kiss I like the thin, crispy crust, I LOVE garlic and the toppings were a wonderful flavor explosion combo. I have 2 gripes about this visit.
