The Peace Pipe — Restaurant in Charlotte

I have been to The Peace Pipe numerous times in just the past month, and I always leave satisfied. You always get your money’s worth here. I honestly don’t understand how anyone could write them anything under 5 stars, because I know the management will try their best to work with you if you are unhappy with their services in any way. That being said, I will NEVER visit another hookah bar, because I am and always will be a loyal customer here! They have everything that you could ask for in a hookah experience. The age IS 21+. If it’s your first time visiting, you will pay a $1 membership fee which is good for the entire year. They have a menu with plenty of hookah flavors to choose from, and they’ll bring you your hookah/drinks/food etc. You can mix shisha flavors as well for free! The owner and staff are amazing and knowledgeable people, who make me feel like royalty every come come in. Jonathan, the owner, has been there every night I’ve visited. He really cares about customer service and satisfaction, and will do anything he can to make your experience a good one! That’s just one of the many reasons why I love it here. Aside from how it’s such a great place to bring friends to hang out, because they even have board games and music videos playing on a big screen! I’m really looking forward to my next visit, and will always recommend The Peace Pipe to ANYONE, whether you’re a hookah savvy person or just an occasional smoker- I guarantee you’ll love it here too! My flight got canceled, and I ended up stranded for the night at the nearby Red Lion hotel. Hearing some music, I decided to venture out, and I'm glad I did.

First, let's be 100% real: the neighborhood is rough. I'm from New York, and I was seeing things that were wild even for me—the less said, the better. Honestly, I almost turned back. But then you get to the entrance of The Peace Pipe, and everything changes.

The second you walk past their security, you step into a completely different world. The place is surprisingly spacious, the staff is welcoming, and the vibe is incredibly chill and relaxed. It's a legitimate safe haven. They've got a great setup with karaoke, a huge projector screen, a dope outdoor patio, and of course, quality hookah. I just posted up with a few drinks to enjoy the atmosphere. And for anyone coming from a major city, the prices will blow your mind. A beer was only $6, which is practically a steal.

Bottom line: This place is a gem. If you're staying at the Red Lion or find yourself in the area, do not be deterred by the surroundings. The Peace Pipe is a secure, friendly, and affordable oasis that is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended. By the way, there's no food here just to let you know... But it's still worth the killing of time until your flight the next morning at...

This place is by far one of the best places I have ever been to. Both Jonathan and Maz welcomed my friend and I with open arms and made us feel right at home. I'm from New York and was stuck at the airport so we decided to go out to smoke some hookah. If your ever in charolette North Carolina this has got to be the first stop you go to once u get off that plane. You will never I guarantee meet such down to earth people the most amazing people like them anywhere you go I promise that. Their lounge is the most amazing place the atmosphere is just right. When you go there your not treated as just a customer your treated like family and thats the best feeling. The hookahs are amazing the flavors don't die out as most places you go to you always have to have it fixed up or keep getting a coal change but not with them you can smoke it for hours and it'll feel like you just got your hookah that's how fresh it is. I'm from New York so you can imagine how much hookah I smoke lol so to find this place just 10 minutes from the airport I promise you won't regret it. I have made two new amazing friends never thought I would have but I did. So if your ever in North Carolina in Charolette this has to be your go to spot. I can't wait to go back and visit again.
