Hey what's happening guys ! Captain D's is still the happening place. They continue to put out some really delicious food. Guess what ? Their parking lot has been repaired. It never had slowed down their business. However, it was an eye sore, and y'all food is too delicious to have such a minor distraction😋. A Big Shout-out 🗣️ to Captain D's you guys are toooo coool 😎. This an excellent example of team work makes the dream work. My family just picked up some more Captain's D's again. We just picked up some last Sunday around noon. Something delicious 😋, and special must be going on lol. It is every weekend Senior Citizen discounts 💰. Man ! Those older folks are rolling up in there by the car 🚗 loads. I have not seen any young folks much at all. Well in order to receive it , I am sure identification is required 😜. Otherwise do like a lot of young folks send in an older person 😊. I've personally prefer the catfish fillets, and pecan pie 🥧 for dessert 😋. You guys are popular! Keep doing what y'all are doing . I am going to give you five 🤩. Otherwise your parking lot needs a make over. Guess what ? They fixed it ! Thanks guys ! This however has nothing to do with your 🥑🥝. What Is The Captain D's Way? I can answer that. It’s the way they take care and pride in serving special seafood meals (that you don’t need a special occasion to enjoy). It’s the way they select the very best ingredients, like Wild Caught Salmon, and how they freshly prepare them: They batter and bread the whole muscle fillets by hand or season and fire grill them, each one made-to-order. Sides like the hush puppies or coleslaw are mixed and prepared from scratch every day in the restaurants. The Famous Batter Dipped Fish is hand-dipped into signature batter which they prepare in-house, every single day. The food was delicious. The only problem I have with food, is as soon as I start loving a new item, y'all take it off the menu. Some of the servers are wonderful, while some could use some civility training. This last trip, some were eating Reese's cups and drinking while working the front line and window. I don't believe that's appropriate. I also had to set at the drive thru way longer than I should have due to no one responding. Maybe y'all need a new system since this seems to be a normal thing according to other reviews. In my opinion, the restaurant is nasty and could use a serious deep cleaning, and the bathrooms could use a complete remodel. The parking lot is better than it was, but filling holes with gravel isn't the best improvement.. js I just feel like Captain D's could do so much better than this, and actually, most of them I've been in are better.
