I've been wanting to try this place ever since it opened and I finally got to make it here.
First of all, this review is not complete. I'll need to come back and eat an entrée. I had enough time for a couple of cocktails and a small dish.
I arrived on a Tuesday night around 5:30. There were just 4 people at the bar. The bar is beautiful and impressive. I love the tables they extend perpendicular to the bar so it's like a table but your still sitting at the bar...enough for 4 people and there's 3 of these. I think was by myself so I sat at the bar. The bartender was kind and knowledgeable.
I was there for about an hour and a half and just a few people came in and sat at tables, but the bar stayed steady.
For this being my first time I really enjoyed it. It was a calm nice atmosphere. A great place to get good cocktails and more than just what's on their menu.
They didn't have my favorite rum but the bartender steered me in a good direction for my cocktail and it was quite delicious. I ordered the brussels with harissa and cojita cheese. Be aware, if you are sensitive to spicy foods stay away from this. I love spicy and I found this dish as flavorable and having just enough spice. I even asked for more of the harissa sauce to spice it up a bit more. I also ordered the deviled eggs with pastrami, kraut and 1000 island. Your get three with an order and it was very very good.
Some of the negatives aren't too much. The bar is U shaped and has a beautiful white marble top with rounded wooden edge to the bar. The only problem is there's about a 2 inch gap between the wood and the marble. So if you are wearing something nice or light colored beware, since you can't get your food super close, there's a a chance food may fall between with opening and onto your lap. Also, the handles of the utensils are very heavy. When I set my fork down to get a drink, my fork fell out of the bowl and onto the bar almost everytime. A lady beside me lost her knife off her plate and onto the floor. Not a huge deal, just an observation.
As I said, for me this review is not over...I want to come back and irse and entrée. But for now, give it a try! It's a nice additional option to the...

Mezcal cocktail was solid. Okay beer selection.
Didn’t care for the food that much.
I’m a salt fan but the everything bagel seasoning and blue cheese made the wedge waaaay too salty for us. I didn’t feel like the flavors went together very well. A couple of grapes were there to freshen it up (I guess) but they didn’t get the job done.
Sour cream and onion deviled eggs were also pretty salty. We wouldn’t order them again, not because of the saltiness, but because they were kinda one dimensional IMHO.
Lamb meatball was tasty but really small.
Octopus was the star for sure. It’s the only dish we’d order again.
Rose cava was really tasty and a great deal on happy hour.
Oh yea, website said most small plates are discounted on happy hour but none of ours were. /shrug.
Really nice people. I think I’d return here for drinks only.
Last update: came back a few more times for food. Wings were sold. On one trip the trout fritters were really good, the next they were overwhelming fishy, almost gaggable (yet somehow contained very little fish?).
I’ve had 3 entrees here over the past year and didn’t enjoy any of them. The grouper collar was sitting in oil, and oil squirted out when you cut it. The steak had a very unpleasant non steak off flavor :|. The lamb gyro was dry and flavorless. No idea how they get such good reviews on food, we can’t be this...
Read moreMy wife and I sat at the chefs corner for her birthday (no mention when checking in for our reservation). Nice little touch, but nothing spectacular. We have sat at chefs corners at other restaurants and you can see the communication amongst the line in other restaurants and the food was top notch.
Definitely cannot say the same for Fraziers five and dime. The lack of communication amongst the line correlated to the food/quality of the food that was received. Our appetizers (deviled eggs and scallops) came out approximately 7 minutes apart.
Our entrees again came out separately. My wife then order the ribeye. The ribeye lacked flavor, was thin and definitely was not medium rare and was doused in sauce. The presentation was sloppy and just looked like it was thrown on the plate. I had the lamb shank. My lamb was ok. It was a little dry and lacking flavor and could have used a sauce to compliment it.
The old fashion was very good. While overall the food quality we received was below our expectations. We generally will not write a place off after one instance.
We thought the layout of the restaurant was nice and had a solid vibe. We hope the next time we return, the food...
