Jos A. Bank — Local services in Chattanooga

I have been a faithful customer of the Hamilton Place Mall store for 6 years. I order 5+ suits every year and have grown to trust Charles Calabro, Tanya Krulikovskaya, and Aaron Randall. I have talked with other employees there, but these three employees know my name, and my children’s names each year I come in. Recently my children were given coloring pages while I was being fitted for this year’s suits. Last year my daughter was in a wheelchair. Charlie insisted pushing my daughter’s chair so that I could take my time shopping and looking and he cared for her while I ran in the pouring to bring my vehicle closer so she wouldn’t get wet. When Charlie is not available or with a customer Aaron takes great care of me. He too has a great eye for style and helps me when I can’t decide which suit to pick.

Tanya is a God send. Having someone who is readily available to do alterations in house makes the turn around time much quicker. After 6 years of service to me, she knows how I like my suits to fit. She never fails to impress me. In my opinion, she needs to be constantly reminded how valuable she is to this company.

Charlie, Tanya, Aaron thank you for your service. Jos. A. Bank, thank you for having quality employees. Please see to it they are rewarded for their hard work. I know other customers that feel the same about them.

Employees were nice, friendly, and tried to help. There was couple things that weren't to my satisfaction. We rented 6 tuxedo for a wedding. The shoes we rented were so uncomfortable and had no support. They had us try on a totally different shoe when sizing us. Sizing was way off on my jacket. Wedding plan said to leave it unbuttoned bc it was too tight. When they told me it was made to fit tight. Shirt size for kid was 6 inches to long in sleeves. He only had a half vest when he tried on full back when sized. Tie and pocket square were totally different colors. They just give me white told me that's what I should have. Employees didnt seem to be very knowledgeable about the store process. I would call 1st employee tell this and then we I arrived 2nd employee would tell me something totally different. Then 3rd employee would tell 2nd no that was wrong. One guy had medium vest should have been sized for large. Another had xl should have been large. You could see snitches though pants and jackets were they hemmed them shorter.

All in all it worked but just was worth...

This was the easiest money I have ever spent. I know NOTHING about fashion and am slightly color blind. I was so afraid that in our days of "competency crisis" and people working jobs they care nothing about, that I would walk in and get zero help. I was WRONG! I needed a suit for an event happening in 2 days. No time to be fitted and no time for a tailor. I have not had a suit since 1994! Both employees helped me find the right pants and jacket that fitted me well. Both employees were super patient. Then I needed a shirt, and a tie and pocket square that pulled the outfit together. Remember, I am color blind. These employees brought me SO MANY options telling me which work with which color. One gave me a crash course on pocket squares, which design works for certain occasions. These people KNOW SUITS and dare I say, they seemed to be having a lot of fun helping me look super sharp. In a time when no one seems to care about their job and are just going through the motions, these employees really seem to enjoy their work...
