CJ's Grill — Restaurant in Chelan

Don’t usually leave reviews, but I had a really weird experience here that ultimately had us leave before ordering anything. We walked inside and asked to be seated upstairs. The waiter seemed really aggravated at us and stomped up the stairs. He slammed the menus on the table and said “never fails!” He seemed really angry with us but then spoke normally to a different table that was finishing up their food. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here but since we’re pretty visibly not a straight couple, that might have had something to do with it. In any case, bad vibes and...

I was waiting at the door at 9 AM for the restaurant to open. I was the first client to submit my order. Orders for other guests arrived first - not a problem - but they delivered them to the wrong table which created confusion. After a full hour I still had not received my breakfast. I put $5 under my coffee cup and left since I had commitments I needed to get to. I don't know about their food, but they need to get their coordination between order takers, servers and the kitchen straightened out. I didn't get breakfast that day and don't know if I'll...

CJ's Grill is open! They used to be at the City Golf course. Now they are in downtown Chelan. I think there food is even better now! We had Bloody Mary's, Fish and Chips, and Eggs Benedict. It was all excellent. Can't wait until our next visit... We already know what we are going to order... The Monte Cristo, Burger and Fries, and of course... Two more of those delicious Bloody Mary's!
