Goldie's — Restaurant in Chelan

I used to love going to this place as we come to chelan often. I went in today to order a matcha latte and asked if it could be blended. The young girl at the counter who said she was the manager was already annoyed I asked if it could be blended. When i received the drink I was like oh this is not good. She watched me take a sip and was like why did you make a face when you sipped it. If you don’t like that’s your fault you should have ordered something on the menu. She should have not made the drink if it was such a huge deal. I did not mean to put anyone out. She literally made a face at me it was so completely rude and disrespectful. I immediately walked outside to where my husband and twin sons were and he asked what was wrong and I told him. He went back in with me and asked if they could refund the drink and she continued to be rude. She said no she would not refund the drink( she actually said you know what, no I will not refund the drink). She was even going to remake it but the other girl working said yes they would. I have never been treated so awful by anyone in the service industry. I worked in the service industry for years and would always be kind and accommodating. This was such a great experience! This was my first time in Chelan and I stopped by for an açaí bowl. They made the base fresh right infront of me and all the ingredients and toppings were fresh. I got the Golden and it was so delicious, better than my açaí place at home. The employee was so so kind, we talked for a long time about our shared hobby of reading, and she said I was welcome to stay and read with my açaí bowl which I did and had such a peaceful time! Goldies is the SHIZ!!!! A MUST try when going to Chelan. You will be dreaming about having these smoothie bowls again and again every day after! My favorite is the Golden Bowl(that peanut butter drizzle to DIE for), but the Rainbow Bowl is AMAZING too. The esthetic of this place is TOP notch. Literally, the coolest looking place I have ever been to. You've gotta check out the pink bathroom too. Wish I could hang out in there all day I just love it so much.
