Omg. My husband and family have visited this place way to often. Our children go here as well. Today I ordered 4 BLT sandwiches. Ask for onions on all four and cheese on two. We leave this place go to Dunkin’ Donuts to get coffee and then come home to eat as I’m eating I get to the first sand which and there is I no onions which I was charged for. Didn’t get upset until we opened our second sandwiches and say same thing except that one had about a teaspoon of onion on on half and nothing onThe other. I called and the guys comment who took our order said”’well first of all why are you calling me an hour later “ I said sir it has not been an hour and as I explained we just got home after stopping at Dunkin to get coffee. He then says but why are you calling me upset what do you want me to go I said first of all I pay for the onions and they’re not on here he said he Cham why you called me an hour later I said you know what you can keep the money I was charge for the onions and I’m just gonna go and I’m just gonna give you a negative review and he says and I quote you can go right ahead and do whatever you want in a very sarcastic and condescending way. My husband who is a former police officer, who knows the female owner there Will be speaking to her and depending on what comes of that we may never visit the store again we will go to mamas diner which is right up the street from usI refuse to continue to take anything less then proper treatment from anyone I...
Read more12-5-23 Do yourself a favor and skip this place. I was underwhelmed! The menus are taped to the walls. I ordered chocolate with whip cream which was served in a styrofoam cup. When I asked for an actual mug/cup the server complained making some excuse about Covid while taking the cup back so I decided to just keep the styrofoam cup. I ordered an Omelete which arrived burned. The eggs were brown all over! AJ eggs should still remain yellow when cooked properly. Even Omelettes. I refused to consume that mess. The toast was served to me in saran wrap. If I wanted take out food I would have asked for take-out. This environment felt more like a corner store that sells food instead of an actual restaurant type establishment. I did not feel welcome or that the place wanted people to dine in. Again, I do not recommend AJ's on Ogontz Ave. in Philadelphia, PA located in a strip mall across...
Read moreI placed an order for delivery. First of all this is the only restaurant I’ve ever been to that does not include toast when you order a breakfast platter with eggs meat, home fries, grits or whatever else you order. When I placed my delivery order I added in the comments section for the restaurant white toast. I also was about to add green peppers and onions for my home fries but the menu said home fries came with green peppers and onions. I get my breakfast and not only does it not have any toast, the home fries are just fried dry potatoes, no onions or green peppers. What a disappointment! This place is definitely lacking when it comes to the...
