My food was pretty good. I got the house salad which was mixed lettuce and cucumbers with dressing, a philly roll which was good, and a christmas roll. The christmas roll had seaweed salad on it which I typically like but tasted like it wasn't rehydrated properly as it was "harder" than I am used to. My husband enjoyed his beef yakisoba despite the unusual additions of edamame and corn in it. My 5 year old liked her terriyaki chicken but we were disappointed that there was no smaller portion size for children, even an appetizer size would have been enough for her. We felt wasteful because she doesn't eat rice and it came with a heaping serving which my husband tried to eat some of but couldn't finish it (see picture of what was left once she was full). They offered free spring rolls with our meal but we couldn't finish them because they were luke warm when they came out. The atmosphere was lovely. It is clean, well decorated and not noisy. The service left a bit to be desired. They were not busy at all, there was only two other tables the whole time we were there. However we had to ask for more water, my 5 year old's food came out about 5 minutes after our food (kids don't like to wait until last) which made no sense since my husband also ordered from the kitchen, not the sushi bar. We had to ask twice for a fork for our child to be able to eat her food. The waitress did not clear our plates at all and she brought the check when we were clearly...
Read moreWill NOT return, not real food. Walked in at 7:30pm, placed orders at 7:45, got food at 8:15 left by 8:30. Service was great, atmosphere was good, but the food took forever to come us, we ordered sushi, ramen, and stir fry. Sushi was ok. The ramen was not satisfying at all. There was a whole hard boiled egg, not the expected ramen egg. Noodles were from dried package and for some reason there were cherry tomatoes in it, gross. The stir fry should be on an episode of kitchen nightmares. Again, the noodles tasted like they were from a package, like dried ramen noodles that you get for 75 cents from the college store. The chicken was definitely frozen Tyson chicken strips, see the picture they have painted on grill marks. It’s stir fry use fresh chicken, I don’t understand why they try to cut these corners. Also, the plate had cherry tomatoes, not even cooked. I imagine they boiled the noodles to death strained them, put the chicken and veggies on top and popped it in the microwave. The low caliber food does not match the inside atmosphere at all, do not be fooled. I spent $75 for Tyson chicken, no effort ramen, and Walmart sushi. Vote with your dollars and go...
Read moreI’ve been a frequent customer at this restaurant and have always considered it a go-to spot for dinner. However, I had a disappointing experience two days ago during a pickup. As I arrived to collect my order, an employee stood directly in front of me near the door, physically blocking my path in a way that felt confrontational—as if she was demanding an explanation for something. I even asked her if the restaurant was closing, thinking she wanted me to leave.
Customer service is a crucial part of any dining experience, and it should be held to the same standard as the quality of the food. Unfortunately, this interaction made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
To add to that, some of the food in my order tasted old and not fresh, which was very disappointing given my previous positive experiences.
I just want to emphasize that how employees speak to and treat customers matters just as much as the food itself. Respect and professionalism go a long way in maintaining...
