0 stars So .... Ugh I feel like I went back in time to the 70's... This was a rough interior to begin with... Faded blue/turquoise booths bleached out tables, things appeared old and stale from the get-go.
A plant in the corner with a plate under it to collect the dead leaves, one by one, only to be neglected till it offs itself š³ The plant in the middle of the restaurant says it all, half of it's dead but tied together to stay alive? Time to remove the dead pieces of that plant maybe dust around it?
We ordered coffee and that alone was off... It tasted terrible like something was really gross about it! Had to trade for pop .. so I had an idea that the food may be off also.... How bad could it get? We simply ordered breakfast.... 2 southern omelettes with sausage gravy with biscuits. Requested well done hash browns... the biscuits were so doughy and raw .. the sausage was not right... the cheese was barely melted, looking plastic and our hash browns were raw .. cooked only on one side. The gravy was weird...I picked through the meal trying to eat what may be edible and left the majority behind. Felt like puking 𤢠𤮠at this point. Ahhh the bill.. reasonably priced overall but eager to go just in case.... š½
The person that cashed us out it was so aggressive in the middle of a Sunday afternoon.. she told people at the door to sit on one side of the restaurant and then changed her mind and told them they had to sit on the other side probably to rotate but it was still rude overall. As we turned to walk out, the same person that cashed us out, damn near ran me over in such a blurred hurry to get to the next table?
We could see Dimitri's outside the window and we had regret that we didn't go there instead.
Everyone was so nice so it could have potential if the food issue is addressed but considering how old the establishment is and how uncared for it is that would take a lot of love to fix!
I would 100% recommend to never eat here... It is nothing like Gus's in Mount Clemens and I will definitely never be going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a local delivery person and I just left this restaurant in tears and unbelief (12:30 pm Sunday) being yelled at by a waitress that questioned my delivery driver integrity - This was a large order so I attempted to take the food part of the order and carefully place it in my bag which was outside the door, and in front of 30 people she yelled at me as I was attempting to find my bag, that I was forgetting the drinks donāt forget the drinks in a loud voice so the entire restaurant could hear her - itās not about the question or concern she had,, itās about the unprofessional attack that I felt having never delivered for Gus before, it was about the way she made me feel In front of the entire restaurant - a delivery driver - with 4963 deliveries of experience - I donāt think that she cared . She questioned my being a real delivery driver and after telling her the customerās name multiple times, in front of thirty seated people , she yelled at me demanding I accept the order in front of her SO I COULD PROOVE my existence and then went on to talk about all the food stolen trying to make sure the food isnāt stolen? - Does she think theyāre going to stop with the treatment she gives? Iāve delivered in this city for 1 1/2 years never have been treated like this - We are here to pick up a delivery, not be embarrassed by a waitress that is very unprofessional- I ask that she be educated on her purpose in the full circle of this situation . I have no problem accepting the order in front of her but with a little more class please Iām still getting over how she treated me but I will move in because I too owned a business for 20 years and I know what itās like - Be kind to the delivery people and please educate yourself on how to question the validity of their presence and position when arriving to pick up the order. Sincerely, a disappointed delivery friend that...

INSIDE: The corner booth I sat in had old french fries in between the back cushion, crumbs on the seat and table. The waitress came and did not wipe the table down.
There were cobwebs (NOT Halloween decoration) in the corner of the window. They also have a few dying trees and plants for you to look at in the building.
THE FOOD/SERVICE: There was already half and half creamer on the table that was expired. I discovered this after taking a drink of my coffee. When my food was brought to the table, I told the waitress, and she said, āIt was in the sun on the table too long all day, probably.ā Then she didnāt throw them out. Instead she took my coffee after I asked for a new one and brought me a handful of ānewā creamers. She forgot the coffee itself, and didnāt check in until I was almost done eating. I did not get a refill on my empty water or on my coffee. I was surprised that I was still charged for the coffee after the bad service and having consumed disgusting spoiled half and half. I looked at their bowls and the cream is boldly dated on the top- yes, it expired last month... and the ones that should be good until December have turned bad too, I can vouch for that!
My veggie pita was under $5, so they went light on the lettuce, tomato, onion and feta that filled it. The Greek dressing was over half oil. If you want a pita with a few bites of oily salad on it- order the...
