Best experience ever! I wish I still had my receipt, but I still may send an email to corporate, I was that impressed with the level of service I received. I have eaten at McDonald's all over the world, and the food is almost the same everywhere you go - quality and taste is a bit better in Europe than North America, but other than that everything is quite similar. No where, in any of my visits to local McDonald's or locations anywhere else in the world had I received the stellar and absolutely 5* service I received today.
I was lucky enough to be greeted and have my order taken from Brian around 1:15 PM 12/11/19. We started talking about Star Wars and the movie viewing order as I had ordered a Happy Meal for my daughter. In that short time it takes to place an order Brian had already developed a rapport with me as the customer and I started chatting with him a bit as there was no one behind me. I told him that I offered to take my little princess anywhere for her birthday lunch and she said there was no place else in the world she would rather go. I told all this to Brian and then took my seat to wait for my food. I felt as if we were having a friendly conversation and did not even imagine the customer service genius gears already turning in Brian's head! Brian's customer service went above and beyond any expectations imaginable for McDonald's. He brought out the food and asked if we needed anything else. We were OK so Brian left, but made sure I knew if I required anything he would be there to help.
Fast forward 5 minutes, my daughter and I were enjoying our fare, when Brian showed up at our table with a couple of employees from the back. He brought us some stickers and he sung Happy Birthday to her with the other members of the crew. You should have seen the smile on my daughter's face from EAR TO EAR! :) It was a great moment in her young life, the other diners in the room even clapped for her. As the crew was returning back to their work from their 60 second break Brian offered to refill my drink or bring us anything else we needed. I felt as if I was being served at a highly reviewed and regarded restaurant.
In short, kudos to this McDonald's for hiring such a wonderful employee who personifies the cultural pillar of customer centricity. McDonald's corporate should make Brian a Director of Customer Service or some similar position so that he could train others to be as attentive and outside of the box thinking as him. LoL maybe even create a new position for him VP of Smiles! I understand that this particular scenario would not fit the business model in peak business times, but it is this type of service that makes an impression on customers. I will forever be grateful and a loyal customer to this McDonald's location thanks to the service I was provided by Brian and the rest of the crew this...
Read moreFinding people who can help you get through a rough day is hard but not inside this McDonald. I wasn’t doing well in school and I felt very depressed. I didn’t feel like cooking so I went into inside of McDonald on 23 mile. As soon as I walked insider I noticed how nice the place looks and comfortable. There are also these big screens which it allows you to order your food and pay. I ordered my food on the screen then I had to wait for my number to be called . As I was waiting for my food a young lady saw how upset I looked. The young lady had asked me if I’m okay , I responded yes, just having a bad day. The young lady gave me some advice and also made me laugh that was something I needed . I decided to tell her what’s really wrong with me, she listened, and showed real concern. She also told me her story of being depressed and how she coped with it. After I had gotten my food I thanked her for listening and just giving me someone to confide in. I checked my bag to see if I had gotten what I had order I saw a little card that said “ keep your head up “ it was from one of the crew members. Just that little card made my day. You never realize what little actions can do to make someone happy. This was a while ago but I will never forget that day. I go to this McDonald all the time and would recommend...
Read moreI used a $2 off my reward for my purchase purchase…when he (the supposed manager) put it in…it gave me an entire meal…I told him I did not want ALL that food…that the code was for $2 off…he wanted to argue w me…he said nothing he could do about it…I asked to speak w a manager…he said he was…said I had done something wrong…so clicked on the deal again…it said this code had been used in the past 15mins…so obviously I had used the correct code…I asked if he possibly put it in wrong…then some lady came over the speaker …said there is absolutely NOTHING they can do so I can get the food or not…I asked what code he had entered so as to confirm it…she said it didn’t matter as he entered it correctly…however her tone was VERY unappreciated & obviously it hadn’t been entered correctly…I said obviously I gave to correct code, used the correct offer, but something went wrong somewhere 🤷♀️ Irritated her even more…she told me to re order my food if I wanted it…I said I’d rather take my business elsewhere…as this isn’t the 1st incident w an employee who was less than helpful 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I see why they have 3.4 stars…cause the food here is normally fresh & good 🤷♀️Took my business elsewhere they gave me $2 off & the...
