Eagles Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

I am willing to change and edit my review if waitress service is improved.

I come here often because my dad is always here. Everyone is usually very nice and polite. I came by tonight with a friend to show him how fun this place is on trivia nights, and the waitress was not very good. The wait times were fine, but our server, Amanda, was not. Our meal went fine, and she was very polite. My friend and I both tipped 20% in cash because the service was great. We are young and clueless sometimes, so maybe that's a terrible tip? After we had paid, we left our stuff and our food/drinks at our table to play some of the games. My dad came by to tell us the table and our food was cleaned up and our table had gone to someone else. I had a full drink, and my friend still had his food, as well as his coat at our table. There was no reason for the table to be cleaned up. When we came back to sit down at another table for trivia, I had asked for a new drink, since mine had been cleared. The new drink was given, but after the first round of trivia, Amanda asked us to give up our table for another couple, who happened to be sitting at the bar. I did not feel welcome to be there, and neither did my friend. We wanted to enjoy trivia with my dad and his friends. There was no room at his table for us to join him. Our original table was given up, and now we are asked to give up our current table? I find that to be very disrespectful. I like this place, and him and I are willing to give it another chance. I just hope that the service will be improved...

Update: pricing on everything but the beer has gone up! Still good service and good food… but when masks were required- the staff didn’t all wear them and the servers had them under their noses.

Large portions, good service, great taste and cheap 22oz beers for $2! Caylah the server was wonderful. She was very attentive to our needs with refills, food suggestions and prompt service. The other staff was also friendly. I was very happy to stop in there for a meal of fried food. The menu is extensive and creative from fried pickles to spaghetti, ribs and wraps. I look forward to coming back to try more of the food. Other tables dishes looked delicious as well as ample. I highly reccomend their dessert of fried Oreos with ice cream in the middle. The atmosphere is clean, new flatscreen televisions all over, nice tables, chairs and booths. The Detroit Lions symbols painted were a nice touch. Just moved in area. Looked up highly reviewed sports bars near me and thought I’d give this place a try. The food is priced a bit higher than usual, but it is quality. However it was quite difficult to get the attention of the bartender, even though the bar was not busy. When I did put my order in I told the waitress I wanted to order my food now and would be putting in a to go order for desert before I left. I also got a mixed drink, and possibly planned on having another before I exited. About 5 minutes after I placed my order the same bartender came and said “can I get you to cash out the shift is changing” more of a order than a request, and I had other things I was planning to order. I find this rude and it makes me feel rushed. 3 stars for good food.

Lastly I will add that by the time I received my dessert to go the same bartender that asked me to cash out was still there working and taking orders. I chose to tip the bartender just starting her shift that brung...
