I came in to make a few amazon returns. I had all QR codes readily available for the customer service representative. He was only helping one other guest when I arrived at the counter. Said counter is split, one side to help with amazon returns and the other to do normal store checkouts. As that transaction on the other side of the counter was coming to an end, I made sure I had my phone open and ready since I was next. At that moment another customer came walking up to the counter for a store checkout which he chose to help before he helped me. Even though I think it was unfair of him to help another guest before me as I was next in line, I patiently waited for him to help me. He quickly completed the transaction and finally began to help me. The entire one on one interaction with this customer service representative was rude, distracted, and disrespectful. He never once made eye contact with me or even told me what he needed from me. Luckily, I have made previous amazon returns to this store, so I know how it generally works. The customer service representative’s name is Justin. Justin continually got distracted during my transaction. He was actively ignoring me and had conversations with several other customers within the store. It was extremely rude and he was so distracted, that my transaction took around 10 minutes when it could have taken 2 minutes. I couldn’t believe how blatantly disrespectful he was to me. I think Justin needs some serious training on how to properly interact with customers. I’m seriously turned off to this Staples location now, and I highly doubt I will return. Read moreWaited over an hour for my small order that was placed yesterday. When I arrived they said it just needed folded. After waiting awhile, I find out that their machine was faulty. They told me to wait 5 minutes, as I offered to come back another time. They then called someone for help, but, rather than helping me he helped the other people in line after me and left my order unworked, then proceeds to leave me standing there still waiting. I had to throw a fit in the store to get someone to work on my order, and then left with only half of my printing and told them to just charge my company and let me leave because their delay caused me to be late to a $1000+ event I have scheduled this evening!! I’ve never been so disappointed in Staples. I’m a marketing director for a huge real estate company - will never use Staples printing services again after this. No wonder stores are closing. In hindsight, I should have demanded a full refund + the product, since the guy (who didn’t help me) didn’t charge the people who came in after me for their inconvenience. My most recent project was the packaging for a McDonald's happy meal so, of course I had licensed characters on it. After asking me what it was for, in which I replied, a school project, they argued with me saying that I would need written proof from pixar to print these items. First and foremost, you can print anything legally as long as it is for school.
