I'd really been looking forward to this place, the descriptions of the sliders sounded awesome and locations have been popping up constantly so I expected something really great. I think they might be trying too much, the food has potential but it's just ok.
The Mediterranean chicken slider had very bland unseasoned chicken. The falafel slider was pretty good but the falafel was a bit heavy or soggy. The fried chicken slider is great, the chicken was tender. The buns are nice and all the produce seemed fresh. The fish one was awful. Tasted so much of cheese and savvy sauce you couldn't taste the extremely dry cod at all. The classic burger one is fine and the chicken strips are very good though they forgot the ranch. The fries were so bad - so soft and mushy on their insides my kid deemed them not worth even eating. The house seasoning is nice and if there wasn't a markup for it of 50 cents per order of fries I might consider just requesting they fry the fries a little longer so they are crispy next time but I would have to pay 2.50 markup for 5 orders of fries for my entire family just for a couple shakes of seasoning which is robbery to say the least. Especially considering almost every semi decent pizza place seasons crust for free!
The markup on trying a signature slider is eyebrow raising, the prices just for seasoning the not generous portions of mushy crinkle cut fries is wild, the prices are just a bit too high across the board although the prices for slider packs aren't unreasonable. But to take advantage of it there would have to be one or two sliders we loved enough that we all wanted to eat them again and if even my kids aren't impressed it's not happening. Oh and at these prices having Pepsi products instead of Coke is ludicrous.
Main reason for 3 stars: the staff was genuinely nice and on top of their stuff and quick. Chicken strips are good. I like the size of the sliders and the freshness of...
Read moreI normally have a good experience here. The shakes are good. The burgers and fries are good normally. I don't have any problem, but tonight I gotta say something. And I hope management reads this because I called after I got home and ate and it was one in the morning, so no 1's at the restaurant, but I'm gonna post the pictures of what I saw. I ate my sandwich and my fries, and I go to eat my second sandwich that new Thai chicken slider. It's really good, but not when it's got multiple long hairs of a very thick and coarse texture. I found the hairs when I was chewing the Chicken Sandwich. I thought there was a stringy piece of chicken and something just told me to pull that piece out lo and behold, it's a big, old, long hair, and there's another one in the sandwich. I'm glad I was able to make it to the kitchen sink before I threw up. It is so unsanitary.. that's also on top of I had to get out of my car in the drive through through at 10:30 pm to pick my debit card up off the concrete. Because the girl handed it to me. Dropped it She almost dropped the food when handing that to me as well. I did park a little bit away from the window. That part was my fault, but it wasn't far. Enough to where she had to really strain to give me my card or my food. You just hold on to the item until you're sure the customer has what you're giving them. I've worked in fast food in the service industry before this is not a big concept. I didn't say anything at the moment because I thought it's late. No need to be rude but then they get home and now I got hairs in my food, needless to say, I am not happy. This is the first time something like this has happened, but I really like their strawberry shakes, and I'll be honest, I don't know if I'm willing to risk. This kind of experience again, cause it's disgusting and I we'll not be getting out of my car to pick up my debit card off the ground when I have a torn meniscus in...
Read moreWe ordered 2 Burgers and 2 Fried Chicken Sandwiches to Try and After a Bite or Two of the Burgers, we Tossed them in the Garbage because ALL the 4 Buns were NOT Toasted and the Burgers had No Seasoning at all on them and No Taste at All, and we asked if they were Toasted and were told they were. All 4 had Only One Pickle on each Sandwich even though we informed them that we have Never been there before and were there to Try their Sandwiches. We Tossed the Buns off the Chicken Sandwiches and just Ate the Chicken Strips because they were Crispy and Juicy on the Inside, but we thought Needed More Seasoning to Improve the Taste. We are Long time Fuddruckers Customer's in Sterling Heights and we're Hoping they would Open a Location on the Northern Eastside of Macomb after they closed the Location at Lakeside because they Have by Far the Best Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Buns, and Fries in the...
