Michaels — Local services in Chesterfield Township

I never go to Michael's but I was visiting with my mom for the day and she wanted to go so I went along with her plus I needed to buy a glue gun. As I just stated that I never go to Michael's I had absolutely no idea where anything was so I circled the store and could not find even 1 person working that I could ask. So, i continued my journey around the store and came to who seemed to be the only person working in the entire store, the cashier. So, I approached her and asked if she could please tell me where the glue guns were. All she did was nod her head in the direction of the glue guns then told me they're down there with a flip of her head in some random direction. I then asked if she could more specific and she said to me really annoyed that, "she did not know exactly what aisle they were in." So, I figured I would just take another stroll around the entire store considering I was waiting for my mom anyway. Fortunately, I found my mom and she knew exactly where the glue guns were. So, all in all I was irritated at my recent trip to Michael's because there was nobody working and the cashier was not very friendly nor could she even try to point me in the correct direction. No, I won't be returning to this store. And in addition when my mom and I were checking out the cashier still was not very friendly at all. I had a question about the Easter crafts and their prices but of course she couldn't answer that question either. And I tried to get my mom the senior discount because she is entitled to it and nope still couldn't get any help from this worthless cashier they had working. In all fairness, she was probably just irritated herself because she was the only person working in this large store but still there were barely any customers. She could have at least attempted to be cordial and pretend she might possibly not hate life as bad as she seemed to on this...

No one works here? Went in to get a frame for an odd measurement piece, the girl there was talking to a customer. I understand, but I stayed there for 10 minutes and she doesn't even say one word or acknowledge that she knows I'm waiting, as if I don't exist or something. And I usually don't get picky with services, I understand you're busy, but one sentence "Excuse me for a moment, I'll be right with you as soon as I can" will keep many people around. But here, nothing, just yapping to the dude for straight 10 minutes. And I walked around looking for others to help me, but zero, nobody was around. Joan is closing, I wouldn't be surprised if Michaels would follow with these type of services. Either hire more people, or teach them better...
