Call me Anton Ego because eating 82 kimbap induced a Ratatouille-esque flashback that transported me back to a Korean elementary school student who only had just enough time to eat one roll of tinfoil-wrapped tuna kimbap for dinner between his after-school math class and violin lesson. The ingredients felt very fresh and seasoning was just right. Thanks to its convenient location, I foresee that I'll be frequenting this spot for lunch.

Their kimbap are packed perfectly with just the right balance of rice, fillings, and seasoning. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The soup and pear juice were also great additions to the meal.

Iโ€™m so excited that there is Korean food at the Sterling Food Hall. 82 Kimbap has quick service and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed eating the beef and spam kimbap. Between the different sauces I prefer the yuzu sauce. Next time Iโ€™ll have to try their drinks. They sell out quick so make sure you get there early to try their kimbap.

Highly recommend. If you are ever visiting Chicago or just need a quick lunch option as a local, look no further. 82Kimbap sells kimbap which is a traditional Korean rice roll with seaweed and different ingredients inside. My personal favorite is the tuna.
