LaShuk Street Food is an absolute gem! The food is incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. I recently had a terrible experience when a courier stole my food, and while the situation wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, the owner went above and beyond to make things right. Not only did they accommodate me with a fresh pickup order, but they also sent me credit on Uber Eats as an apology. That level of care and dedication to customer satisfaction is rare, and it made me appreciate this amazing business even more.

As for the food, it’s nothing short of phenomenal. I’m still sad that they discontinued the Za’atar Chicken—it was one of my absolute favorites—but thankfully, the falafel and shawarma plate more than make up for it. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, and the shawarma plate is generously portioned with tender, juicy meat and perfectly balanced spices. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with love.

If you’re looking for delicious street food with exceptional customer service, LaShuk is the place to go. It’s clear that the owner and staff genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their food. Highly recommend—support this amazing business, you...

Lashuk is my go-to spot for lunch most days. Their falafel rice platter is absolute perfection - I literally order it every single time because it’s so good and despite me eating the dish a dozen times or more, I’ve not had the curiosity yet to try anything else. The falafels are perfectly crisp on the outside that’s tremendously taster and flavorful rice that's always cooked just right.

But what truly sets Lashuk apart is their exceptional service. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcomed every time you visit. It's this winning combination of outstanding food and warm, personal service that keeps me coming back week after week.

Even though it's located in a food court setting, the quality of both the food and service make Lashuk stand out. If you’re downtown looking for a quick, yet delicious meal, I can’t recommend this...

Tantalizing Taste at Lashuk Street Food. On my most recent visit, I chose to go with their Hummus Bowl with Mushrooms, an appealing mid-day delight that was hearty yet nutritious. An abundance of mushrooms, paired perfectly with a fresh and smooth hummus, lent a tasteful appeal to the dish. The drizzle of tahini elevated the dish even further. The dish came served with a side of pita bread, the perfect partner for the hummus bowl. Soft, warm, and fresh, the pita soaked up the flavors of the dish wonderfully, allowing for a full-bodied experience with each bite. However, the pricing did seem a tad on the steeper side. While the ingredients were fresh and the flavors exquisite, the cost might seem a bit too much for a casual lunch option, which is something the establishment may...

We really enjoyed their super fresh and flavorful creations. The Falafel Hummus Bowl was great (although it missed the ordered Baba Ganoush). The real revelation, however, was the Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Bowl (with some really hot Zhug): juicy and bursting with flavors! Our four pita breads could have benefited from a bit more roasting time, but this is of course subjective. Small suggestion for the owners: having Malabi not only for dine-in but also on the delivery menu would be a great addition.

LaShuk is the best!!! Everything is delicious and of the highest quality - silky and flavorful hummus, perfectly spiced meats, the fluffiest pitas, the crunchiest falafels and the tangiest zhug (hot sauce) - all made fresh and with love by the kindest humans. I’d give LaShuk ten stars if I could! (Pro tip: the new location at Revival is less than a ten minute walk to Millennium Park, and the food travels well and makes for the best possible picnic)
