I had the rudest encounter as I had order my rice as usual. I get home findout it had onion green sprouts and called to get the food fixed I had no problem taking it back. I called and they are arguing about the situation in their native language. I explained that my kids won't be eating the rice as it has green sprouts and onion. I waited 6 to 8 minutes and the lady comes back to the phone screaming at me that she would do a one time exception. I told her she had no need to scream as I didn't scream at her nor was I upset of the mistake. She continued to scream and again I told her she is no one to scream at anyone regardless of point. I was very upset as I have been coming for years and never had an issue. Mistakes happen to anyone and they had no right to scream at the customer nor the customer has the right to scream. I told her she was rude and had no right to scream.

After returning the food they didn't asked me if I wanted the food to be done correctly but did refunded my money back the girl was nice and asked no questionsand kept it short. I took it and left. I absolutely adore Happiness Restaurant on Halsted Street. I have ordered from them several times throughout the past year. They are fast, friendly and serve high quality food at a very reasonable price. They also give large portions of food, so if you order a meal, expect to have enough for two or three days afterwards unless you are sharing with others. They are very accommodating when you ask for extra packets of hot mustard or sweet n sour sauce. Once you become a regular customer, they will keep you in their system and can identify you by your phone number in their system. My rating is actually 0!!! I have been ordering from this place for years. My last few delivered meals where just awful, but I regrettably let it pass. But today when I called to complain about the food which was dry overcooked or recooked AWFUL!!!....All of a sudden the English is totally incomprehensible. They went from Trying to force me to keep the meal, then regrettably trying to force me to take a replacement to failure to understand "REFUND". An hour later I'm offered a refund minus the delivery fee and my tip. Not only did I not want a replacement but I will NEVER order from this disrespectful place again!!! They totally have no concern for customer service. STAY AWAY...
