Great lunch and super handy for our trip to the Art Institute (which doesn't currently offer any in-museum dining). We each ordered a CYO Plate with falafel as the protein. They formed the falafel balls and cooked them as we ordered, so very fresh, hot, and crisp. The nutritional information page on their website provides details for every ingredient. So I was easily able to calculate calories, fat, fiber, and protein for the lunch I planned. Switched hummus (as a second base) for couscous and had a luscious plate for 541 calories and 21 grams of protein. Servers were quiet, but personable and efficient. Space was very clean. Several small tables in back for smaller groups + large long table in front for individual customers to share. We will definitely be back!

I have been waiting YEARS to come back to IDOF after they closed the one by me. Finally, I was able to make my return! I got a gyro plate and I think I over sauced myself because when I mixed everything together, the sauce overpowered and also made the meat get cold quicker. The only other reason I give 4 stars is because I was in line for 30 minutes… I’ll be back and hopefully raising my rating to 5 stars

I visited this place on my trip to Chicago. Very clean and friendly stuff. Meat is 100% halal. It’s comes for everyone! Thanks guys for your business in the city, our community needs more halal place like this.

I was told over and over I need to try the falafel here, so I finally went. The chicken shwarma looked so good that I had to get that instead. You get to pick out what you want on it, they have an assembly line sort of thing going, and all the toppings are really fresh and good. More variety than at some places. Anyway, the chicken schwarma wrap was incredible and I've been back about 4 more times and still haven't been able to try the falafel because the chicken is just so good. I've always been able to find a spot to sit no problem at lunchtime. Maybe a bit more pricey than other comparable places (especially when it comes to sides and drinks) but when I need a chicken schwarma fix there is...

The food is inexpensive, delicious and organic. Their sauces are delicious and they have a great variety of food. I've been there three times in the past two months and the experience is always good. I like consistency when it comes to good food. I'm a bit picky about falafels (having eaten a lot of them, both here and overseas) but these are very good. The service is friendly and the place is clean. The staff actually cares! I go to this place once a week now. I don't like their baba ghanouz but I like everything else. I ask them to pack my falafel separately and that helps to eat them nicely. I like the attitude of the staff willing to make things the...
