I don't think I've ever rated a restaurant so low in all of my travels.
We came on a very lazy and mild Sunday evening.
Upon arrival the restaurant was deserted except for another couple on the patio.
After being seated, we placed our order all at once without any substitutions or changes from the menu. We ordered a simple ceaser salad and a "Max and Leos Specialty" pizza.
Our salads came out after 20 minutes and were brought by the manager as our server had disappeared.
The only other people in the restaurant had their pizzas brought to them without having been cut first in the kitchen.

Read moreCame here and did not expect a place to do it like this!! Started out with the Bourbon Smash Cocktail and it not only was amazing, it was refreshing that I ordered another right after. Ordered the Honey Habanero Wings and these came out crispy and a little burn on them, our server told us that it is the coal fire oven and that it would have a bit of a char on it from the 900 degree oven. Let me tell you I AM HOOKED! Not only were these flavorful and a great spiciness to them, you bite in and it is absolutely amazing how moist the wings are. The Margarita Pizza looked great and tasted even better, the crust was amazing and had the same little char from the oven and it only added to the entire flavor profile. We will all be back, and I will not be waiting for my...
Read moreUsed to frequent the original Max & Leo's in Newton Corner all the time. This location is pretty close to the original, but is missing classics such as The Mikey and Juliann. I've noticed the toppings aren't as fresh/delicious as the original location, but they aren't bad either. If you are looking for a good thin crust pizza this will satisfy you, and it does closely resemble the original (but just not quite as good). If you are coming to the bowling alley and happen to want pizza you will be pleasantly surprised with the taste compared to the typical bowling alley pizza.
This location is also about twice as big as the original location with significantly more seating (about 5 tables inside, 5 booths, and 10 bar seats, plus an outdoor patio with another 5...
