Where do I start! This place is AMAZING. The staff was friendly and inviting. The food was scrumptious!!! Bravo, Bravo Bravo. The food was so good Michael Myers could have served it and I would be back. I was a huge fan of IDOF but Naf Naf has taken the title. The seasoning used and flavor created were definitely mouth watering. I wanted to jump on the countertops and create a TikTok video giving Naf Naf nothing but the highest accolades but figured the other customers may not appreciate the disturbance. My good friend Kelly A encouraged me to give Naf Naf a try and she definitely had my best interest at heart. Words can't describe how much I enjoyed my lunch. I would go back at closing and ask for the scraps ( none of those items deserve to be tossed). If anyone is considering Naf Naf don't waste another second.
Update! This location deserves 10 stars! I returned today with Kelly and ordered her supreme concoction with Couscous, Falafel Chicken, Garlic and Green sauce! My goodness the flavors were savory. The food was plentiful it created a smile on my face as well as in my Tummy. The entire staff demonstrated excellent service. This was my second time visiting Naf Naf, and this sophomore album did not disappoint. I'll be back! signing off.... Your faithful...
Read moreI went to this location first time with my coworker for lunch. We were not greeted and waited for employee to help us, who did not display a welcoming attitude besides not being occupied. My coworker ordered a chicken shwarma bowl. I ordered a bowl but with half steak and half chicken shawarma. When I was served I receive 1/4 portions and much less than I usually get at other locations. I brought this up in o the server and he was clearly upset and said he would charge me for double meat. I did not have an issue with this but did not like his attitude. When we received our food it was cold and our pitas were both cold, hard and rubbery, my guess is they were left out from first thing in morning or prior day. This is very different from experience from the NafNaf 1/2 a mile Away on Clinton Ave. where they make fresh pitas and store them in a warming compartment and provide better service and higher quality of food. I was a regular client of NafNaf but might be making a switch to Beniyehuda’s at Ogilvie. Don’t go to this location or make the 1/2 mile walk to the one on...
Read moreNaf Naf Grill is like the Chipotle of shawarma / falafel in the sense that it's a "build your own bowl / pita and we charge based on what items / ingredients you ask for".
When you walk it, you are greeted with two large machines with delicious shawarma rotating on it, they have chicken and steak. They also offer falafel as a vegetarian option. As I awed at the machine, the staff told us that the machines were brought over from Germany and ensure that the meat is cooked properly and the cuts have a consistent thickness everytime. Then there is a counter of different toppings, dressings, pitas, and more all of which look delicious.
I ended up getting a chicken bowl (FYI the bowls come with a side of pita) with basmati rice and all the veggies finished with tahini sauce, garlic sauce, and the harissa sauce for a kick.
Final verdict, the food was absolutely delicious,...
