My recent visit to Stan's Donuts and Coffee was a delightful morning experience that combined delicious food, a serene patio setting, and the mesmerizing sight of the city coming to life.
I started my day with a hearty breakfast that included a breakfast burrito, hashbrown, and a steaming cup of coffee. The breakfast burrito was a flavor-packed delight, wrapped up in a warm tortilla. It was the perfect combination and each bite was a burst of morning goodness. The hashbrown, golden and crispy, was the ideal side, adding a satisfying crunch to my meal.
The coffee from Stan's was the morning elixir I needed to awaken my senses. Its rich aroma and bold flavor were a perfect companion to the savory breakfast. It provided that extra kick to start the day on the right note.
However, what truly elevated this dining experience was the picturesque setting. Stan's patio offered a front-row seat to the beauty of the morning. As I enjoyed my meal, I had the privilege of watching the sun rise, casting a warm, golden glow over the city. The tranquility of the moment was occasionally interrupted by nurses riding by on their bikes, heading to work. It was a heartwarming reminder of the dedication and vitality of the city's healthcare professionals.
The ambiance on the patio was serene and inviting, with friendly staff ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience. The combination of delicious food, aromatic coffee, and the mesmerizing cityscape made it a morning to remember.
In conclusion, my breakfast at Stan's Donuts and Coffee was a truly delightful experience. The breakfast burrito, hashbrowns, and coffee were delicious, and the patio setting, with the sunrise and the city slowly waking up, added a touch of magic to the meal. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend starting your day at Stan's for a flavorful breakfast and a tranquil morning in the heart...
Read moreI was standing next to Stans 10min before they opened hoping for a good reason why I shouldn't go to Duncan which is closer to home. I decided on Stans for the sake of something different. The doughnuts looked beautiful with interesting flavor combinations. I was actually getting kinda excited to have an incredibly fattening breakfast with practically no nutritional value. I got two "pockets" (translation : a filled doughnut) 1= a chocolate marshmallow pocket 2= a chocolate pocket filled with Nutella (for nutritional value😈), and a classic pistachio doughnut. The service was kinda... meh! But I overlooked that with anticipation of the goodies I was about to have... Anyway the doughnuts were beautiful and the flavor combos were interesting but they weren't exactly the freshest doughnuts I've had...🤨 The Nutella pocket I didn't really taste much nutella in it (didn't see any either). I thought I was eating the marshmallow by mistake until I tasted the other pocket that was clearly marshmallow. The pistachio was ok. I only got three bites because it broke and fell on the ground after my first bite. Not sure that was Stan's fault....But fresh doughnuts don't usually crumble to the ground after one bite...or do they?🤔 So for me the experience was ...meh! Perhaps it was too early for doughnuts...The doughnuts were beautiful! But at $18 for 3 doughnuts and a latte to me that calls for more Nutella, fresher doughnuts, and a thanks...
Read moreDecided to order online and sit down for my order. I noticed the people working were moving VERY slow. I waited 20 minutes and had only seen 1 of my drinks sitting on the counter. After another 10 minutes, I got a call saying they were out of sausage for my sandwiches and if I wanted bacon instead. Agreed to that and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. My husband went up to check the order and he grabbed whatever they had made for us already. Mind you, drinks had been sitting for more than 20 minutes. He asked for the rest of the order and when they were getting our donuts ready, they said they were already out of 1 so he ended up substituting. They were so lost when he told them we were still missing 2 drinks, they didn't even read the ticket to see what was missing and he had to tell them. we finally got our order...only to get a cold latte by now, a flavorless chai latte and horribly made sandwiches. Never had to wait more than 40 minutes for an order like this. Employees working there today definitely need more training and better attitude towards customers. I love Stan's but will definitely go to a different location. Was very...
