An ice cream served in slices on a cone. Came to visit and experience what some have claimed is great Chicago ice cream. Yet left with an underwhelming experience with an ice cream that didn't meet my expectations. The taste is ok but not different to any other ice cream like Baskin Robbins or Cold Stone. The chocolate is creamy but again not different or "special." You have to order specific ice cream items to get the "sliced" effect on the cone. If you get a single cone, it's just another ice cream. I like how the cone comes with a cap that prevents melting onto your hand. This location seems to be shared with a pizza joint. It offers no seating. For the high price of the ice cream I would look elsewhere especially if you just I want one scoop.

My family and I decided to get some last minute ice cream for Mother’s Day and Rainbow did not disappoint! I want to give a shoutout to the entire team that was there as we were the last order and they made sure we still received top quality! I appreciate you all so much! Everything was delicious and well worth the price (we all ordered the following: rainbow original, birthday cake, strawberry, and chocolate cravings type one). As it is warming up, definitely stop by!

Today Thursday September 5th 2024 at 8:30 PM. I was waiting in line to get service for 28 min without anyone showing up to provide any service. I was ignored, no one cares to provide service, terrible this is very sad they are careless about customer service very poor customer satisfaction the lady on the side just said the guy may be in the back I would recommend checking who was neglecting his job and at least minimum have a conversation with the crew to try provide a good service or at least a pleasant experience, your service truly can improve I hope you take this in consideration because you guys are loosing business due to lack of...

I recently visited Chicago and had a truly exceptional experience at The Original Rainbow Cone. The instant I walked in, staff members greeted my family and I pleasantly and were eager to help. What really stuck out was the interaction I had with Eliya. She was beyond friendly and understanding. When I informed her of my nut allergy, she took the time to listen to my needs and provided knowledge as well as insight on Rainbow Cone's nut free options.
