I come by here every once or twice a week for some tea! I’m now a regular customer here at this point! They have a huge selection of different types of teas that you can try, that my eyes literally run all over the menu and I can’t decide which to get! But I love their cold milk tea drinks menu! My favorite on that menu has to be the: Japanese matcha, coconut, and tiramisu tea! The tapioca pearls also are very good here! I tried different bubble tea spots tapioca pearls in tea and I didn’t like it at all... for the tapioca was way too strong in flavor! But here it’s just the right flavor I need, and I still can taste the tea I’m drinking without the tapioca taking all the taste away! This has to be my favorite bubble tea place of all times! They know what they doing when it comes to good bubble tea, cute place, and the service is super friendly! You know for a fact I’ll be coming by again and again. 😊❤️
Only downside: is I tried the matcha green tea with red beans on the specials cold menu once! Where I asked to add aloe to it too. It was good, but the mix of aloe with the beans really made it go so sour/bitter. And later on I ended up breaking out into hives on my face that I itches the rest of the night. Idk, If I had a reaction to those red beans in my tea(if so, it’s a big bummer 😭), or to just some dust around my home. But overall I...
Read moreI came here for the 1st time on my 1st day, I felt pressured to decide what to get knowing that I was the only customer there at the time & on top of that I received an attitude from the cashier. I ordered the Honeydew Milk Tea & it tasted super weird!! Usually, I would order my Bubble Tea at the Rosemont or Schaumburg Mall cause they're super good, but this one tasted funky & it did not have any Tapioca cause they ran out of it... So, I decided to give it another shot on the day after ( this is my 2nd time coming in ): I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Tapioca & oh my gosh?!?! The flavor was nowhere near a Thai Milk Tea would usually that like just like their Honeydew Milk Tea?!?!? Not to mention, the Tapioca tasted old & I looked at it & yup!! Their Tapioca looked old too! Plus, I paid 75 cents extra for the Tapioca to be added to my supposedly Thai Milk Tea. Also, not to mention 1 of the employees was dropping stuff & making a slight mess in the back, so I'm not sure whether or not this place is Sanitary?.... Anywho, I don't think I'll be coming back to this location. I expected more from them, but Vivi is not all that. They can have a lot of options to choose from, but what's the point of purchasing from this place knowing that they do not taste that great & have old Tapioca? I wish I could have gotten a refund for both of my orders. (...
Read moreBubble tea lovers, beware! If you come here, you risk emptying your wallet for this delicious and unique bubble tea cafe! I love that the menu is interesting and varied, with some bubble tea choices that I have never seen before. For my first visit, I ordered the azuki bean matcha bubble tea and it was phenomenal. I loved that the beans were physically present in the tea instead of just being a flavor! If you find yourself liking bubbles but not actual tea, they also have cool smoothies with bubbles as an option. Honestly, I would recommend simply going there and seeing what tickles your fancy.
If you are also a mindful consumer, they have reusable bottles to purchase; for further visits, they will offer you discounts when you bring them. I always love when a shop encourages reusability to reduce our consumption of plastic. Plus, the bottle is very cute!
One small downside is that the cafe's space is pretty cramped, so I would suggest another space to hang out at. However, there are plenty of cool nooks in the immediate area, so I encourage you to explore if you have the time. The Harold Washington Library winter garden floor is a super cool study area, but you didn't hear...
