Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chico

I recently dined at Chipotle Mexican Grill and had a moderately satisfactory experience. While there were some positives, there were also areas that left room for improvement.

The staff members were friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile and promptly took my order. The menu offered a variety of options, allowing me to customize my meal according to my preferences. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, particularly the vibrant vegetables and flavorful meats. The portion sizes were reasonable and left me feeling satisfied.

However, there were a few drawbacks that affected my overall impression. Firstly, the restaurant was quite busy, and the line moved slowly. It took longer than expected to receive my order, which was slightly frustrating. Additionally, the seating area seemed a bit cramped, making it challenging to find a comfortable spot to enjoy my meal.

Another aspect that could be improved is the overall cleanliness of the dining area. I noticed some tables that were not properly cleared and a few spills that hadn't been promptly cleaned. This gave the impression of a slightly neglected environment, which detracted from the otherwise positive experience.

In terms of flavor, while the ingredients were fresh, I felt that some of the dishes lacked a bit of seasoning. The flavors were decent, but they didn't quite reach the level of excellence I had expected.

Overall, Chipotle Mexican Grill provided a decent dining experience with friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and customizable options. However, the slow service, cramped seating area, cleanliness issues, and slightly underwhelming flavors prevent me from giving it a higher rating. You complain about it being made by Chinese people? You want to go to burrito trucks? Wow is all I have to say!

They use naturally raised meat and are trying to convert to organics. Currently 40% of their black beans are organic. They are also pushing for sustainability. In 2009 Steve Ells went to congress to push for eliminating the use of antibiotics in ranching.

Chipotle has top quality foods at great prices and is always speedy despite there always being people wanting to eat there.

Go ahead, eat at some burrito truck (ever wonder just how often people get sick from eating there? Because I know quite a few that have.

There are local places in town that are also good food. La Familia is one example. You have to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes too to get your food (Even for take out).

People complain it is "Americanized." Well, this food is top quality and I know what is being put in my stomach.

I have always loved the food here. The carnitas here is better than any other "real" Mexican food restaurant. They are tender, never fatty, and don't taste like its been soaking in oil for two months.

Two thumbs up for Chipotle. No I don't work for the restaurant and yes I am a picky eater. It is one of the few places me and my girlfriend can both agree on eating at and be 100% satisfied...

The good... I eat so often I have the app on my phone. Convenient and hands free. Really good to eat a burrito before grocery shopping. I am no longer waisting my time. When the folks in line get their food faster than the person who used the app, irritation is all that is left.

The bad... I app promised the food at 5pm. It wasn’t ready until 5:30. They must have been out of build your kids because we received the kids meal in on the side containers! What? See pictures.

Here I am again. Ordering ahead so as not to wait only to have to wait more than 30mins. Get you house in order!
