I had the pleasure of dining at Lili’s Bistro recently, and it was a fantastic experience!
🍲 Strogonoff: This was hands down one of the best Strogonoffs I've ever had! The chicken was tender and the creamy mushroom sauce was to die for. Served over perfectly seasoned white rice with a fresh side salad.
🍴 Bolinha Vegetais: This dumpling was a pleasant surprise! Made with potato flour and stuffed with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and garlic, they were fried to a golden perfection. The Brazilian vinaigrette dipping sauce was the perfect touch, sweet with a touch of spice 🤌🏻🤌🏻.
🍮 Pudim (Flan): For dessert, I had the Brazilian Flan. It was light, creamy, and the caramel sauce was amazing. It was the perfect way to end the meal.
🍹 House Juice: I didn’t catch the name, but it reminded me of a refreshing variation of a homemade limeade. It was the perfect drink to go with my meal.
The best part of the experience was Lili herself. She was working the floor, and her kindness and attentiveness made the meal even more enjoyable. It’s always great to see someone so passionate about their restaurant and customers.
Overall, everything was delicious, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it a place I’ll definitely return to. If you’re looking for great Brazilian food and fantastic service, check out...
Read moreLili's Brazilian Bistro is our family favorite eatery! I've made it a goal to work through the menu and try everything!
She offers a lovely selection of vegan and omnivore options, with the majority of entrées running under $20 Lili's can be an economic option, or you can go big with imported drinks, appetizer, and a plethora of homemade desserts! A large organic salad and generous cup of soup will cost you $15, while Moqueca Vegana (a tasty pasta dish) is $17.
So far I've tried 3 soups of the day, Pão Na Chapa (cheesy toast), most of the appetizers, and a variety of entrees. The two vegan soups were delicious, but the chicken soup has my heart!
Her salad is made of the highest quality greens in town, so fresh and crispy.
Then there's the beef steak! So tender and seasoned to perfection, A+ I like it on the salad. It is also offered as a sandwich or in several different entrées.
My favorite item hands down are the Pão De Queijo. I kid you not, I'm salivating right now as I type this! These three-cheese balls of doughy gluten-free and deep fried goodness are the stuff dreams...
Read moreMaybe my family and I just have high standards, but the food here was average at best. I showed pictures of the meal to my friend in Brazil and she said the dishes looked spot on, so maybe Brazilian food just isn't for everyone. I guess I was expecting something more exotic, but it was basically the same common meats you find everywhere, just prepared and served in a different way, so I found it kind of boring. The steak strips were a little cold and only cooked medium-well, but were still eatable. Taste wasn't bad and my dad said his ribs weren't bad, but there was more salad, beans and rice on our plate, then there was meat. The particular style of rice they serve is not our favorite. I think their prices are a bit expensive considering the amount of meat they give you, and there's only so much beans and rice you can consume in one sitting. Portions certainly aren't large enough to fill a grown man. It was interesting to try, but it's not a place I would return to. I could make those kinds of dishes at...
