Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Chillicothe

It was a Saturday night, me and my fiancé, we entered the restaurant. We were there for 15 minutes. No one acknowledge that we were there. The guy sweeping the floor. I asked him is there anyone that can serve us? He ignored me kept sweeping the floor. My fiancé asked him. Can you speak any English, he said, shook his head. Go to the back. Come back out the back five minutes there’s another lady coming behind him . She act like she did not want to serve us either. Tell us what’s on the menu. We are truck drivers. We do Applebee’s we do all types of restaurants . She then said she had to tell us that was on the menu because of her GM mind you the GM seen us come in. She didn’t even recognize us because she had her whole family there 15 minutes of us sitting there. She then said to the general manager this couples been sitting here for 15 minutes. The GM gets up go stand in the back and did not recognize us either , we then left went down to roosters which is a maculate restaurant the ambience great services great. The customer service was excellent. Your Applebee’s is horrible on customer service then it’s not clean so a driver professional driver owner operator. I am sending in this information because we did not get treated correctly at this Applebee’s unprofessional very had the GM said something to us even saying hi or can we help you? No one said anything as I said roosters has this Applebee’s beat to the fullest on the customer service on the food on the ambience on everything that Applebee’s is missing roosters, have it , and I will continue to patronize roosters. I will not patronize another Applebee’s here in Chillicothe, Ohio you let the general manager know the management there is horrible and her service horrible the customers are always right. She sits there with her family as though we did not come into her establishment , the young lady at the door she said greetings. We said we’ll sit at the bar. No one recognize us at that point not wanting to even come to this Applebee’s in Chillicothe OH ever again and I drive trucks through out of Chillicothe.OH… ROOSTERS !!!! in Chillicothe, Ohio is much better than Applebee’s customer service food. Very disappointed! We were one of six tables. We came in at 6:10pm and was sat within a few minutes but when we were sat at the table we waited and waited and waited. About 10-15 minutes later someone took our drink order mind you it was one adult and 2 kids. Another 10-15 minutes went by and we finally received our drinks. Then the server left again. In this time three or four other tables were sat and received their drinks. After another 10 minutes our order was taken. So we waited yet again until after 7pm we finally received our food while the tables who came in after us received their food, got refills, paid and left. Not once did someone check on us. When we received our food it was cold, not one hot plate, but with having sat there for an hour we were hungry and my children were getting frustrated and I was getting frustrated, we just wanted to eat. I understand being understaffed I worked in food industries for almost 13 years but this was ridiculous. Our food was horrible and cold but by this time we just ate the food and wanted to leave. After I asked for the bill I was finally asked if we wanted refills and it took another 10 or 15 minutes to get my check. Then I gave my credit card as a form of payment because who knows when the server would be back. I just don’t understand why this place went down here and nothing is being fixed. It’s very disappointing seeing one of your favorite restaurants go down hill. I will not be back I don’t want anyone to offer me free meals I’d rather have my money back. I feel bad for the workers who are there and working their hardest to make everyone happy but something needs to be done before all of the dedicated workers leave and...

Tonight was the first time I have eaten at Applebee's in over 15 years. Every single time was a dine in experience, but tonight was different. For the first time ever, I got take out.....only cuz my girl wanted it. I literally ordered my food, and it was ready 20 minutes later. The food tasted amazing but the accuracy of the order was my issue. I asked for no onions on my burger and there was a plethora of them on my sandwich. I ordered a shark bowl drink to go and did not get it. I asked the waitress about it and she said" let me check and see if the bartender got it". I didn't hear back from her, I ended up going in 10 minutes later. So I walk up to the bar, where most to go orders are picked up. I have my receipt clearly in hand, and listen to the bartender talk to a customer for 5 more minutes. She then asks, do you have a to go order? Seriously?! I have a receipt in my hand, I clearly have an order. I finally see the waitress that brought my order......15 minutes before hand. The bartender finally makes my to go drink, 15 minutes later. I finally get to leave, after ordering curbside pickup. Funny, cuz I had to go into pick up something that was forgotten. Now my food went from being warm when I got home to being cold. I wont be back for another 15...
