Estancia at The Grand Conquista — Restaurant in Chino

We went there with girlfriends because we saw their drinks on Instagram. They looked really cute and really refreshing. The location's really weird. It's on the 2nd floor of like a business complex...? You have to park and walk to it... you can't see it from the street. Then once you get inside it seems like it was a dance hall before that they tried to make into a bar that used to be a club now it's kind of a restaurant…. it's just a weird vibe. The waiters and waitresses were nice but they took literally freakin forever. It took an hour to order two orders of enchiladas. Then longer to get our orders. The drinks were not good and not strong at all (this is coming from someone who drinks like 2x a year) and like 20 bucks each. The food was not great. They tried to make mole sauce but didn't work. They also ordered their Tomahawk steak and it was gross. Given it 1 star because they had a singer singing well known Mexican music and she's sang very well. Guacamole was awesome, I ordered the Huevos Benedictos incredible they were very tasty 😋 my lady had the chilaquiles and she loved them, they had a saxophone player I didn’t care for but 🤩 the ladies, they LOVED 🥰 HIM The ambiance is loud this Sunday mainly the women singing to the sax 🎷 Some dancing and twerking taking selfies 😂 The staff is very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be back with my lady! Dropping a star for not being open on Sunday around 6PM they had a quinceañera dance rehearsal on the other side but restaurant was closed. Google maps had the restaurant open until 9 PM 😠 so I gathered 15 of my people some who drove from Santa Ana and we bolted to the restaurant, very frustrating to say the least I really have a problem with wrong hours of operation on the Google search. Parking and finding this location is tricky! Not sure how long this place has been serving brunch but they seemed I'll prepared. No creamer for the coffee and no tortillas for the pozole. Pozole was also lacking in flavor with only a couple of pieces of meat. The food is a bit salty so if you are anti salt, skip it altogether.
