I went here to have a great family dinner and we was having a great time until we ran out of chips and salsa. Our waiter never bother checking on us once since we been there and we have been there for quite a while and finally my other family had to go in and order and drink along with more chips and salsa. Right there should tell you that we needed their assistant. But nooo the guy just kept going outside looking at us as if we were dumb. Then by the time we order and the food came out they messed up my order along with every ticket mixing up every order we had. I simply ordered the chefs special with cheese dip on everything and the waiter came back with only cheese dip on one thing which was my chicken. I had to wait longer before I could eat and then he finally came back and I asked with my plate in my hand if he could put cheese dip on everything as I asked politely then he said no I'll just bring you out a thing of cheese dip and I was like ok that's fine I guess. So then I was happy again until we all got our tickets and that's when he tried charging us twice for cheese dip for just my plate and put other people's drinks on our tabs. He was rude and not what I ever want to experience again when being served! At the end he kept asking me who all used the cheese dip and blase blase and I simply said I dip that's why you brought it to me right and he said yes. And I asked why? Where is the cheese? (BE AWARE OF NUT ALLERGY) I was led by the reviews to this location unfortunately I was very disappointed I mean where to begin. I have had thorough experience in restaurants and what is expected. This is by far my worst experience. The hostess led us to a booth knowingly we asked for high chairs with toddlers children cannot begin how that would turn out but the booths were tight so it was hard to keep the kids seated not being on a table in the high chairs. Second the kids drinks are serve in Large coffee cups. Second the waiter was rude and unfriendly when we order our meals I had a Quesadilla Del Mar and as you notice in the picture where is the cheese? I went back to look at the menu and it said nothing of chicken and steak in it but I sure had lots of small pieces of chicken and steak it in my overloaded onion tortilla but that was not a quesadilla because quesadillas have cheese. Second the kids quesadilla was not even melted (see picture) how is that a quesadilla for a child?On to the desert the churro cup is on the menu listed with a scoop of VANILLA ice cream unfortunately our had lots of pecans more like a butter pecan which is a hazard if you have a nut allergy. I had traveled 3 hours to have lunch with my brother and his family who also traveled 3 hours, this restaurant was decided based on other's reviews and was everyone's first time here. None of us were disappointed and It was worth the 3 hour trip. The waitress was very kind and kept on top of refills, asking if everything was ok with the food, she was excellent all 'round. The food was top notch and was the best mexican food I've ever had, with generous portions. The menu had a good bit of options to choose from, but was not overwhelming to find anything, it was organized neatly into groups, they even had a vegetarian section which i find rare in a lot of restaurants. My brother brought three of his kids including a new-born and when we entered the restaurant the hostess asked if we would like a baby carrier sling when she saw the baby carrier. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing with lots of warm tones like wood, warm yellow light, and copper wall sconces. If you are in the area check this place out.
