Estera — Restaurant in Christiansted

I’ve been to Estera a handful of times now. The first few times for brunch and more recently, for dinner. This last Saturday My husband went for dinner, a day late Valentine’s dinner.

I’m not really a fancy eater, but there was a few things on the menu for me. I was happy to see bruschetta! I’ll tell you it was delicious.

They have several appetizer choices, and the menu changes frequently. So there’s always something fresh and new to try.

Well, I’m not a fancy eater, I’m kind of a picky eater. The server, Eugene, and his shadow trainee, Vernese, took my needs in stride.

I’ve lived on this island for three years and last Saturday was one of the best services I’ve had in A restaurant! Eugene was top notch and is the bar to hit for service!

They’ve always been great with service but Eugene was above and beyond. He was friendly, funny, and understanding. Made everything we wanted happen. And more!

I had the jagerschnitzel and my husband had the grad 8 wagu steak. The steak was amazing!! Worth the experience, and the schnitzel was breaded so nicely!

We were in early, with a reservation at 5:30p (definitely recommend reservations for all meals, all year round, it’s a popular place).

The only complaint I have is that it gets extremely loud. I would recommend they implement some sort of sound dampening. It gets painfully loud. Unfortunately not uncommon on this restaurant but there are cheap and easy ways to help this.

However, I Can’t wait to go again. I definitely will be in again to visit with Eugene.

Absolutely thrilled with my dining experience at Estera in St. Croix, USVI! 🌟 From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors, and each dish I tried was a culinary masterpiece. The attention to detail in presentation and the use of fresh, local ingredients truly set Estera apart.

The service was impeccable – attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The creativity in the cocktails also deserves a special mention; they were as aesthetically pleasing as they were delicious.

Absolutely incredible! My husband and I shared the Mushroom risotto as a start- and I could eat this every day of my life. The risotto was rich and creamy with beautiful Mediterranean blue and pink oyster mushrooms (insert drool emoji here), our main courses were the Carbonara and the Steak dinner. We probably would skip the Carbonara next time and just dive into that steak dinner! The steak was cooked to perfection, featuring a delicious Gorgonzola foam, more of those beautiful Mediterranean mushrooms sautéed with scallions and garlic, some fingerling yellow potatoes! Amazing!
