Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Chula Vista

The employees are very friendly, much more friendly than most fast food places, to be honest. I used to come here for the tastee freez specials, so much so that a couple of the cashiers would recognize me. My problem with this store is that they would take your payment and bring you your order before you got to the window, so you're stuck in line until the person in front of you pulls away. By the time I got home, my ice cream would be melted or my food would be cold. So, I either had to eat it in my car, until I was no longer trapped in the drive-thru, or deal with melted ice cream and cold food. One day, I ran into a former employee of this location and told her why I stopped coming. She said the owner came up with the stupid idea of cashiers coming outside and bringing the customers their order, and that corporate loved it so much that they are having other locations do the same thing. I told her that I had sent a message to corporate about them handing orders out while in line and haven't heard back. She said they love the owner so much, that they won't do anything about it. As I have recently read some the other reviews posted about this location. I am not surprised. My experience with this location was appalling. I ordered the $6 deal. As I was waiting, I could see1 of the workers preparing food orders. But what set me back, was that she was raw dogging it!🤯 She wasn't wearing any gloves to prevent contamination. Literally touching the bread, cheese and hot dog bare handed. Quite frankly, I honestly expected her to just reach in bare handed to scoop out the chili. I was thinking maybe the laws has changed. But nope! I've been to very many wienerschnitzels but the one on Palomar and third is seriously off the chain. They actually listen to what you order. They even asked if you wanted grilled onions or regular. WOW THAT NEVER HAPPENS. The quality of SERVICE is off the hook. I have never seen such professional and compassion as I did today at this location. You really have to go and try this location.
