Tamales Y Mas Tamales — Restaurant in Cicero

Tamales are very delicious but they have incompetent staff....they always give us the wrong order..we pay and they end up giving the last tamales to someone else when we were waiting for the order the whole time....and had already paid!! The cashier is very rude..in another occasion I came in to the restaurant in scrubs -my work uniform and she refused to sell tamales to me she said I needed a mask when one it wasn't in affect yet and she didn't specify when I placed the order over the phone ....and two other customers -men were in the restaurant without masks... She was flirting with them the whole time, this was at the beginning of the pandemic outbreak. Either the owner needs to step up his/her game up with hiring better staff or they will continue to loose costumers..I've been coming to them for years and it's always something and I truly love the flavor the food is amazing, but from now on no more going...

I bought 6 tamales on 02/13/2022 around 12pm. CERMAK LOCATION . as I was eating my tamal I saw a cockroach on the piece I was about to eat. My stomach quickly turned upside down, and i went back to get my money , around $12. I informed the lady at the register , a younger lady maybe in her 30s brown hair , tan skin . Medium size built . She QUICKLY gave me attitude and said she was only giving me my money from that one tamal with the roach . I told her no I needed all my money back , she kept on trying to argue with me, at the end she gave me $10 back only, because one tamal my husband was eating was less than half eaten. Was there today, I place my order for a dozen red tamales and dozen green ones too. All was fine. A lady entered after me asking for red tamales and was told that they were out. So a women in the kitchen tells the girl helping me that someone called to hold red tamales. I was then told that they were out as well. So she began to unpack my order.The only thing that upset me is the girl helping me said to give me what I wanted because the phone order was placed an hour, and that I was there now. The girl helping says that they'll probably not come anyways. The lady still said not to give them to me. I said thanks, cancelled my order and walked out. BAD...
