Where to begin? My husband and I actually didn't intend to stay at this hotel, but it was a HAPPY ending for us. I booked a hotel at another hotel across the bridge that wasn't up to standards and left and had to scramble to find another hotel at 7 PM. We booked here for 2 nights 10/26-10/28 and just checked out. Firstly the customer service here was unbelievably amazing! Huge shout out to Bryon and Tynesha. They greeted us, made us feel very welcome and were so friendly every time we passed the desk. Later on we told them it was our honeymoon and Bryon said, it's your honeymoon why didn't you tell us?! And he quickly went and got us a bottle of wine and glasses! I hugged him because after having a rough time at the previous hotel they were quickly turning the ending of her honeymoon around. The 2 roof tops are amazing and the bartenders and live music/dj music was great both nights. The lower roof top we enjoyed a lot more only because you have a great view of the city no matter where you sit, but both were fantastic views, great drinks and service all around. Drinks were 100/10 :) The room: soooo clean, so up to date, full kitchen, living room area, bed and begging wonderful, bathroom is great, large, has all the standard amenities plus more. Breakfast: FREE! AMAZING! FRESH! bagels, bacon, eggs, yogurt, parfaits, oatmeal, French toast, chicken sausage, waffle maker, English muffins, muffins, milk, juiceS, coffee, teas, soy milks, multiple types of everything and more food not listed. Shout out to José!!! He was very attentive both days, made me fresh coffee and let me know, went around making sure all food was stocked and fresh, straightening up, took plates and cups away so you didn't have to get up to throw things away and was smiling and so friendly. The vallets, all of them, so kind, very good at their career, so friendly, and quick! When I was taking a shower I ran out of conditioner and someone brought it up within minutes to my husband. All and all the staff made this trip amazing, I didn't get many people's names, but everyone, in every area went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home there. We will be back, hopefully next year for our 1 year wedding anniversary....

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of contracting with the Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown/The Phelps to accommodate our esteemed guests who were attending the Queens Village Cincinnati National Summit. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely outstanding, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
First and foremost, I must highlight the exceptional service provided by Ashley and her team. They went above and beyond to ensure that our guests felt welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout their stay. Ashley's attention to detail and professionalism were truly commendable. She anticipated our needs and effortlessly executed every aspect of our arrangements, making the planning process a breeze. Her warm and friendly demeanor made working with her an absolute pleasure.
The Residence Inn itself is a gem in the heart of Cincinnati's downtown area. The hotel boasts modern and stylish accommodations that are both spacious and well-appointed. Our guests raved about the comfort of their rooms and the attention given to even the smallest details. The hotel's location is perfect, providing easy access to the summit venue as well as nearby attractions and dining options.
The amenities offered at the Residence Inn were exceptional. The complimentary breakfast provided a wide array of delicious options to start the day off right. The fitness center was well-equipped and maintained, allowing our guests to stay active during their stay (they have Peloton Bikes). Additionally, the free Wi-Fi was reliable and made it convenient for our attendees to stay connected.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown/The Phelps. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location truly set this hotel apart. If you're looking for a place to stay in Cincinnati, whether for business or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing this exceptional hotel. Kudos to Ashley and her team for making our event a resounding success. We will...
Read moreI have stayed at this location several times before and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied in the level of service. I am a titanium Bonvoy member, and I use the app to check in, make requests, etc. Since there would be 5 in our party staying in a 2-bedroom suite, I requested extra towels, face cloths and pillows. None was in the suite when we arrived. Since we were only using 1 bedroom the first night I waited until the morning of day 2 to request (again) the extra items. I spoke to the front desk and was assured the items would arrive shortly. When we returned from our activities in the city at approximately 4pm, still nothing. I had to call down again (3rd request) before the delivery finally happened. In my pre-arrival requests (in the app) I also checked the “late checkout” (for titanium members, up to 4pm) box. I received confirmation of my request, yet was still disturbed by a knock on the door by housekeeping at noon. I called down to the front desk and spoke with a manager because it appeared that NONE of my requests registered with the staff. I received an apology and was told this had been their busiest weekend since COVID, and that they were understaffed. Weak response! Based on my expectations from previous stays (both before and during COVID), this was disappointing. Pros about the stay are that they have been able to provide a quality breakfast that is COVID friendly, the suites were very clean (no residue from my Clorox wiping of all surfaces), and in my opinion, the location is the best in the city. For these reasons, I would give this property another try, but expect that they will make the necessary adjustments to accommodate the increase in occupancy. Especially since they have returned to pre-COVID pricing, especially when the Reds...
