Had a private event here and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was great! The beer was great! But we were not told before the event that we would not have any staff from MadTree assist us with the event day of, take our dirty dishes, take out the overflowing trash or even say HELLO, welcome, thanks for having your event here….nothing. So just expect this if hosting an event. The room rental charge is literally just to rent the room..no hospitality whatsoever. Staff will not even bother with helping you. Also disappointed that when we asked to talk to a manager he never came in the room and when we went to close out our tab after the event and brought up our concerns with what we expected to have he shot them all down and was yelling at us in front of customers across the bar that he can’t do anything, they don’t have servers etc. Our whole party had never been to MadTree before so we had no idea nor was it listed in the contract or told to us during our interactions with the event manager. Not very professional. We were able to talk to the event manager the next week and worked out our bill but the whole night still leaves a sour taste in my mouth with the expectation for a bit of hospitality when paying to have an event there. Would recommend another facility for a private event due to the rude staff and management… overall the food and beer is good but not worth the cost. Can get much better service for the cost somewhere else if you are trying to have a nice, unique private event. Beer/food=great Private Event experience=horrible. Hoping they train their bar and event “management” better and revamp their contract/communication for future renters. Shout out to Catch-A-Fire pizza though for the delicious catering and manager! He was so awesome and listened to our concerns and really was helpful during the event when it was not his...

Been here a hundred times. Been a loyal customer since basically day 1 back when they were in the old location off Kennedy.

Their beer is fantastic and there's little anyone can do to dispute that. They have a massive selection of fantastic beer and the pizza is really good too.

Since they've moved I've noticed a lot of changes but never in the quality of their beer. That is as good as ever.

The place is always packed. Like no matter what time you get there. 2pm on a Tuesday? Yup. Packed. I'm happy for them because it means they're doing good business but it makes it a little annoying sometimes as a customer.

The service at the bar has really fallen off. I used to love going to MadTree because the bartenders were so nice and even when they were busy they would get to everyone pretty quickly. Nowadays, even on days when they're (relatively) slow I gave to stand and wait 15 min. Before a bartender will stop ignoring me and look me in the eye.

It's not as warm and welcoming. While I'm glad MadTree has expanded their space and the new location is awesome in many ways, I miss the how welcoming MadTree used to feel. It feels industrial now. Cold and unwavering. Still good. Always good. But a little impersonal. Almost like the brewery seems to tell you by it's existence that "we're MadTree and we're a big deal we don't care about your patronage because we really don't need it"

Lastly and most importantly, I don't want to come across as a person who doesn't like MadTree. I actually really like it and I go there all the time it's just that I remember when MadTree was my favorite brewery and sadly, I fear those days are gone. Overall, MadTree is a great brewery and I still recommend their beer and...

Madtree Brewing has become our go-to spot for a relaxing experience. As someone who doesn't drink alcohol and follows a vegan diet, I've often struggled to find places that cater to my needs without making me feel like an afterthought. Madtree, however, exceeds expectations on all fronts.

One of the first things you'll notice is the laid-back atmosphere. There's never any pressure to rush through your visit, allowing you to truly unwind and enjoy your time there. This relaxed vibe is perfectly complemented by the staff, who are consistently friendly and attentive and seem genuinely happy to be there.

What really sets Madtree apart for me are their thoughtful beverage and food options. As a non-drinker, I appreciate that they offer a variety of non-alcoholic choices, ensuring I can still participate in the social experience without feeling left out. Even more importantly, their vegan food options are a game-changer. As the vegan in the group, finding places where everyone can enjoy a meal together is often challenging. Madtree's inclusive menu means our entire group can find something delicious, making it so much easier to plan outings where everyone's dietary needs are met.

The combination of a relaxed environment, friendly service, non-alcoholic beverage choices, and vegan food options makes Madtree Brewing an unbeatable choice for me and my friends. Whether you're a beer enthusiast, a non-drinker, a vegan, or just someone looking for a pleasant place to spend time, Madtree truly has something for everyone. This kind of inclusivity and attention to diverse needs keeps us coming back time and again.

Thank you, and thank you to GM Bryan for all you do to make this...

The new kitchen inside MadTree opened last weekend after Catch-a-Fire moved out at the start of this year. My family and I are big fans of Catch-a-Fire, so we were sad when this all went down, but the food coming out of the MadTree kitchen is a solid replacement. We started with an order of cheesy bread, topped with garlic butter, mozzarella, and parmesan served with red sauce and ranch ($9). There are four slices in the serving, enough for each of our family members to try a slice. Nothing crazy here, but solid bread and good sauce to go with it. We also tried the fries with Happy Amber BBQ and ranch ($10). This was a massive serving of fries and their BBQ sauce is great. My favorite of the day was definitely the tasty taco pizza topped with taco sauce, cheddar, chipotle chicken, pico de Gallo, Doritos, guacamole, and crema ($17.25 for the 12-inch). The flavor combination on this was superb and I was happy that this was served with chicken rather than the more common ground beef for a taco pizza. I will absolutely order this again as it is unique and tastes great! Our kids enjoyed the cheesy cheese pizza ($11.50 for 12-inch). My son said it's not as good as Catch-a-Fire, but I stole a slice and found it to be a pretty good slice of plain pie. Overall the serving sizes are large, with the 12-inch pizza being more than enough for 2 to split. There are six pretty big slices, so it could be possible to share with 3 people and a snack on the side, depending on the hunger of the group.

We had such a great evening at MadTree. We were initially wondering if we needed to make a reservation since that was an option, but we decided to pop in and check it out without a reservation. It was busy, and the parking lot was full, but this place is HUGE. There was some sort of event happening as well as tons of indoor seating and, our favorite, outdoor seating. Placing the order from your table was kinda fun and then venturing to the bar to get drinks led to a nice conversation with the bartender about the beer options. We each had a flight that we enjoyed. We split the wedge salad which, while it wasn't actually a a wedge (it's chopped romaine), was delicious. And the pizza we shared was great. It was a really fun evening. My only complaint, and it's so minor, is that we tipped when we ordered our food, but I'm not sure what we actually received. We got our own drinks, gathered our own plates, utensils & napkins, and were told to bus our own table when we were done. So, I tipped 25% for someone to carry out a pizza and a salad. That seems silly. Even with that in mind, though, this is somewhere we would eat again.
