This restaurant is tucked away in a charming and scenic area of Cincinnati, far from the busy downtown. It’s conveniently located near quaint shops, a museum, and a cozy residential neighborhood. During the warmer months, the surrounding area is ideal for a leisurely walk—just make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there are some uphill sections.
While the restaurant’s exterior might seem modest, almost like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered, stepping inside reveals an inviting, well-designed interior spread across multiple levels. The space feels unique and spacious, perfect for a memorable dining experience. When we visited during the winter, after a trip to the nearby museum, we were seated on the enclosed balcony. Despite the chilly weather, the balcony was warm and cozy, offering a wonderful atmosphere suitable for both families and couples.
The menu offers tasty American cuisine served in satisfying portions. Guests can enjoy a variety of beverages, including alcoholic drinks, sodas and other options. There’s even a bar located on the lower level, adding to the restaurant’s appeal.
The restaurant was quiet, the restrooms impeccably clean and the friendly, efficient staff enhanced the experience further. I’d gladly return, especially during the summer, to try the outdoor seating and savor the seasonal ambiance. If you’re ever in Cincinnati, this restaurant is well worth a visit for a delightful meal in a...

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. When we went in the hostess said their servers were very busy, and that we could have a seat at the bar while we wait for a table. The bartender didn’t even acknowledge us, but when two of his friends came in he acted like they were celebrities; chatting them up, shaking their hand, laughing, etc. He stood there, yammering with them, like we weren’t even there.
After sitting there for about 15 minutes a group of four came in, and the same hostess whisked them right to a table. She put them at a table for four, so I get it. Whatever. About 10 minutes later the bartender’s friends left, and THEN he decides to ask us if we wanted anything. We said no, hoping we would have a table soon. About another five minutes went by and another couple walked in the door. The same hostess looked right at us, grabbed two menus and showed the couple to a table. She totally blew us off. My wife is normally a go-with-the-flow person, but even she had had enough. So we left. We walked a few blocks down the street to El Barril and had an excellent meal, and the people were as friendly as could be….no uppity attitude at all.
Screw this place and their snobby, nose-in-the-air attitude. They can keep kissing the backsides of locals and we’ll...

About 20-25 minutes go by(Empty drinks for awhile) and she brings our main meal...I ask about the nachos and she replies, "Oh sorry about that, I forgot" and then walks away...Didn't even ask if we still wanted them or do anything to make the situation better...like a 2nd beer...which was never brought at this point. Then another 10-15 minutes goes by and she come with the check!!! Like what??? We never requested it, never got our 2nd drinks, never asked about additional items...just brought check. At this time; I'd normally just pay and leave. However, we were using a coupon that required us to spend $50 or more...so we order another round and quickly down those just to leave...because I refuse to make a scene; but I was close. We had a 2nd certificate that we gave away on our way out...not...
