I recently visited Your Mom’s Pizza in Mt. Adams and had a disappointing experience. I placed an order for a 10-inch cheese pizza and a Sicilian slice. I was told it would take about 20–25 minutes, but I ended up waiting nearly 50 minutes. During that time, I saw multiple customers who ordered after me receive their food well before mine.
When I asked about the delay, I was told they were waiting on the Sicilian pizza, but based on what I observed, it felt like I was being given the runaround. To make matters worse, by the time I finally received my order, the cheese pizza had clearly been sitting in the warmer too long — the quality was noticeably poor and not enjoyable.
I came in looking forward to trying a local spot, but between the lack of communication, excessive wait time, and the unsatisfactory food, I left very disappointed. I hope the management makes improvements to both their service and food quality...
Read moreWe can’t rate the pizza because we never received it. We popped in on a Saturday evening around 5pm for 2 single slices of cheese pizza. After waiting 20 minutes, we still didn’t have our slices. We overheard an online pizza order would be 2 more hours, so we inquired how much longer for single slices that we ordered and were told at least 25 more minutes. For single slices?!? We try pizza all over the city, state, and nation and have never had to wait for single slices like this. We requested a refund and left (much to our disappointment because we really wanted to try the actual pizza)! Our recommendation would be to remove single slices from the menu or to have a dedicated oven for rapid slice production. Maybe we’ll attempt to try...
Read moreGarlic knots are quite good, but all them if they will heat up the pizza dipping sauce for them, because the cold sauce doesn't really help them. The pizza itself was quite good, especially for NY style pizza. Actually I'd say that the crust has too much structural integrity to be true NY style, but I prefer it that way. Could have been a touch more generous with the toppings though. Small eating area: no take bigger than a two-top. Paper plates, but the silverware is surprisingly robust and feels good in the hand. Overall, would definitely return if I was...
