Bell Event Centre — Local services in Cincinnati

My now husband and I had our reception at The Bell and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out! I had been to a reception a few years back and it was one of the most fun weddings I had ever been too. So when it was time for my husband and I to find a place I knew where I wanted to go first. We went to The Bell and booked it IMMEDIATELY!! Our event coordinator for the reception was Kelsey, and she was so detail oriented and asked all of the right questions. I gave her ideas as to how to organize the centerpieces and decorations as the guests would walk in, and I made sure to give her free reign to make it look good and presentable. And let me tell you, IT WAS BETTER THAN I EVER ENVISIONED. Kelsey helped make our wedding day beautiful, organized and most important, FUN!! The amount of compliments we, along with our families have received, is RIDICULOUS!! I was nervous about the food being prepared in house and everyone loved it!! We did the chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, green beans and the London broil. Everyone loved the food and the drinks!! We even received compliments on how perfectly cooked the London broil came out. It was the best day and night of our lives this far, and we are so grateful and appreciative to everyone at The Bell for making sure it was the perfect day for us. Our photography and videography team we used was Bambino International (and let me tell you, I could go in to an entire review about them, but I will spare everyone that here. They are AMAZING), our DJ and lighting we used were CSC Special Events (again, they are AMAZING too and the DJ, Jimmy, really payed attention to how the crowd was reacting to the songs being played ), and our cake was A Spoon Fulla Sugar (I know I am biased, BUT THEY ARE AMAZING TOO!!). I want to bring these three up because these are some of The Bell’s preferred vendors and they could not have given us better recommendations for our big day. The Bell Event Centre has dedicated workers that genuinely want your day to be so special and memorable. I think the halo photo booth is worth mentioning as well. Our guests had THE MOST FUN TIME WITH IT! It is such a fun idea I have not seen at any other wedding I have been too. Your guests can take their own pictures and then once they are finished, they put their phone number in to receive a link to it, but the bride and groom can see all of them as well. I hope this review is helpful to those of you looking for venues. If I could do it all over again, I would not change a thing about that day or night. The Bell is the way to go!! All I can say is DON’T do it!! I expect them to come back with a defensive response, as they tried to cover stuff up with us, but head this warning!! We just recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Bell. If I could redo my choice of a venue, I would never go with The Bell ever again! We were fooled from the very beginning. Told things that were false just to get us to sign and pay the initial deposit where it was too late to back out. We even had a finalization meeting to confirm how things should be as far as lighting and details and they still could not even get that correct as we had the incorrect lighting for our ceremony and other things. During the finalization meeting, the event coordinator working with us, kept cutting us off and was extremely rude. The venue did not turn the air on until one hour before the ceremony and then it was still too late for it to cool down so it was hot during our ceremony and reception. Many of our guests mentioned how hot it was and an elderly guest left early because of it. Also, I was the bride and my meal was not even correct. One of my Meat options did not have the sauce on it and we did not even get bread. My food was not warm. We were NEVER asked if we wanted drinks they only brought around our complementary glass of champagne, and there was a glass of water sitting on the table already. I had to flag down a staff member just to ask for a pop. We were told at the beginning that they could be very flexible with the menu, but after signing and paying, they turned around and said there is no adjustments they can do or customizations! For the price we paid for this venue, we were extremely ripped off and just cheated. The staff was not friendly, but only seemed annoyed With us. The bridal suites were also hot And uncomfortable. Upon arrival at 12:00 PM (when venue was told to be open to vendors and bridal family, the bride, and a vendor were directly told to wait outside (in the heat) until staff was finished giving a tour to a couple and their family that hadn’t even signed up with the venue yet. This was completely inappropriate!! When we first toured the venue, there were things we loved about it and had signed with them because of those. Closer to our date we found out That they got rid of those very things and did not even tell us about it. We never once received any emails or offers to be compensated for them. There is a lot more It is way too long. Long story short I just highly suggest Researching other venues Before signing...

The Bell Event Centre was everything that we could have wanted for our wedding venue.  It all started when we first walked in to meet with the team for inital discussions and we were already blown away.  The magnificent architecture of the venue along with the beautiful stained glass windows just drops your jaw to the ground.  On top of the awe of the venue there was a table set up with samples of table settings, photography albums to display other weddings and an entire folder detailing everything you can imagine for you big day.  We walked in thinking this would be an initial consultation and we ended up walking out with our wedding venue booked because we knew nothing could beat this.  We could tell the team cared about the couples and wanted to make your day special to what you want.  Throughout the planning process we worked with both Alexis and Lori.  They were both amazing, knowledgable, accomodating and quick to respond.  Our day of coordinator was Alexis and she made everything so simple and easy so we didnt have to worry on the details.  She really picked up on our vision and executed it perfectly. The food was amazing and beautifully plated which received numerous compliments from our guests.  General service throughout the night matches if not exceeds some of the finer dining experiences I have been a part of.  One other amazing thing is the long list of reccommended vendors and accommodations the team at the Bell is able to provide from hotels, to photographers to officiants.  This once again removed a lot of research from our plates and really allowed us to enjoy our wedding day and have less stress with planning leading up to it.

Something special about this venue is they put on events throughout the year that are open to the public. Prior to our wedding we went to a wine dinner and we know we will be back for future events as well.  This allows us to continue to relive the night and memories into the future which you don't necessarily get to do often at other venues.
