UPDATE
Visited with friends and had an amazing time!! All of the good things from the last visit plus an incredible band… and the service was top tier!!
Officially 5 Stars!!
Hubby and I were excited to visit Something to Wine About on Saturday. We arrived just before 10:00 PM.
The venue itself is stunning. The ambiance is on point, with music at a perfect volume—loud enough to feel like you can move to it, but not so loud that it drowns out conversation. The playlist was excellent, and the place was pretty packed with a nice, mixed-age crowd, including some friends of our adult children.
Service, however, was lacking. Our server was friendly and promptly took our order for two cocktails and waters. We paid and tipped generously right away, but things fell apart from there. It took 15 minutes for one drink to arrive, and another 10 minutes for the water. My cocktail didn’t arrive until 10 minutes after my husband had to find someone to inquire about it. Once the drink arrived, it was good, but the delay dampened the experience, and we ended up not finishing them.
On a positive note, the doorman added to the vibe, occasionally dancing and engaging with patrons.
Overall, the environment and music were highlights, but the service issues left us feeling disappointed. With a bit more attention to service, this could be a...
Read moreTerrible first experience. I came alone for an $40 event (6:15 pm) , I was ask to sit at any of the”individual” bar stool chair, no problem, no reservation seats anywhere ! A large birthday party group starting filtering in. And began to fill in the entire floor right side of the stage. They had their personal birthday cake and set it on the table I was sitting 8:15pm The live band still has not started performing. 8:25 pm One of the hosts asked me if I would move to the bar. (It was crowded at that time). I said no because I could not see the stage at the same angle. The host came back two minutes later and said I do have to move you because this party needs room I said they didn’t RSVP ? The party nor the owner Never came to me and apologize for my inconvenience nor did anyone offer Myself a complementary drink or anything I left I would “never” return. This is far from an upscale...

I think most people who are seeking wine bar/charcuterie are looking for a more relaxed, calm vibe with casual conversation. I think overall if the music was significantly lower and the lighting was a little lower as well, this place would do much better. Also the google hours say open until midnight, when in fact they are open until 1AM on the weekends. This almost deterred us from...
