Now, let's talk about the barbacoa – a true masterpiece. The meat was incredibly juicy and tender, infused with a perfect blend of spices that elevated the flavor to a whole new level. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of savory goodness, leaving me craving for more. The authenticity of the preparation was evident, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at Valencia's Taqueria.
The attention to detail in every aspect of the dish was impressive. The barbacoa was served with a side of freshly made salsa, which complemented the rich flavors of the meat beautifully. The tortillas were soft and warm, providing the perfect vessel to savor every delectable morsel of the barbacoa.
What stood out to me was the commitment to quality ingredients and the passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience. It's clear that Valencia's Taqueria takes pride in their craft, and it truly reflects in the outstanding flavors of their dishes.

Walked in, strange smell of old and possible rodent smell. I am not a professional in rodent smell but I definitely know what it smells like.
Ambiance: A little old, broken tiles, floor dirty, especially around baseboards. Again the smell was a bit off.
Food: Pico was really good. Chips, looked like they have been cycled out many times, re-stored, then put back out the next day or longer. Not good looking chips at all. Refried beans a little runny and a bit off in taste. Tacos seem to be fine, but the dingy smell in the place really threw me off.
I know this place was advertised in the CH Sentinel and has five star ratings, but for me it just wasn't the place.
Sorry will not be back.
Thumbs up on my list if...
Read moreI really like this little place. They are authentic. Today I had chicken fajitas. Yum! The vegetables were crisp tender like they should be. Seasoned just right so ever bite was enjoyable. I chose warm corn tortillas but they offer flour as well. Beans and rice tasty. The price feels like a deal. They have a great menu; besides the regulars (tacos, burritos, etc.) there are soups, sea food, and other homestyle dishes including breakfast. Also classic Mexican beverages like rice milk and Jarritos soda and homemade chips. Soccer fans will enjoy watching matches as they eat when Covid restrictions lift. If you love Mexican food, consider supporting this mom and pop place during this Covid crisis. The food is made with love, the staff hospitable and bilingual you'll leave feeling glad you spent...
