This place would get 20 stars if I could give it!!

I was so stressed looking for a great place to have my fiancés 30th birthday dinner as everywhere I called had minimums, set menus, and deposits to hold a reservation for 16 people. While I understand the reasons for these things, I just wanted a very casual dinner with my fiancés favorite people.

The second I called Carters, John made everything so easy, was extremely accommodating & I knew I made a great choice! He contacted me multiple times leading up to the dinner to confirm & make sure everything was set which I appreciated so much. He let us bring in our own cake (with no hesitation). Everyone had a great time & not to mention the food and drinks are amazing!!!

I want to give an extra special shout-out to our waiter (I believe was Johns son but I could be wrong) who was THE BEST. Our drinks were always full and he did it all with a smile & great attitude!

We loved it so much we came back the next week for dinner and drinks and our waiter came up to us (remembered us) and said hello. Just love the atmosphere and such a great place in Beacon.

As a business owner on Main Street in Beacon, I am careful about my reviews. But… I cannot say enough good things about Carters. But, here’s a start 1) The food is sooo flavorful with many healthy but delicious options. I was exhausted after 12+ hours on my feet, and when I walked in hungry & tired, John, the owner got me a seat at the bar and showed me his new menu. I ordered the salmon romanesco with house made fried potatoes. It was so incredibly delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The lemonny, tomatey, red peppery, and secret spicy sauce was the perfect pairing with the salmon. Seriously a 10/10. Okay, #2 John is the quintessential host and his team is just as welcoming. # 3 EVERYONE IS WELCOMED at Carters. They are inclusive, kind and bring a special kind of joy to the restaurant #4 the music in front & the quiet out back. The setting is perfect for someone who wants a quiet place or a place to be entertained. #5, and of course the drinks. Where to begin...Jonathan Lombardi created a perfect evening filled with amazing food, perfect drink, and beautiful decoration as the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks and dessert to begin my son and daughter in law's wedding weekend. From planning to execution, Jonathan was the consummate partner as we planned dinner for 65 to be joined for dessert and drinks by another forty guests. The food--ah the food---passed appetizers and stations with everything from tuna poke to filet to lamb chops to deviled eggs to pulled pork and brisket and cashew chicken and pastas; followed by dinner (yes there was more) of chicken francese, fried rice, salmon and more, more, more. Whether vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or meat eater--there was plenty for all and all was delicious. To this Jonathan added flowers and candles and set the mood and the ambience of his recently made-over restaurant. And then the dessert--brownies and cookies and cakes (and tiramisu) oh my.
