Absolutely loved our visit to this charming little café yesterday! We arrived just 25 minutes before closing, fully expecting to be turned away—but instead, the staff warmly welcomed us in without hesitation. Their kindness and attentiveness instantly set the tone for a great experience. The menu was creative and inviting, but the standout item was definitely the apple burger. It was such a surprising and delicious twist—perfectly cooked with just the right balance of savory and sweet. We also ordered the sweet potato fries, which were honestly some of the best we’ve ever had: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. What truly set this place apart, though, was how dog-friendly it was. We had our service dog with us, and the staff didn’t just accommodate—they celebrated him! They offered a “pup-cup” menu, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find a place that’s so considerate of all their guests—two-legged and four-legged alike. From the cozy ambiance to the heartfelt service and fantastic food, every detail made us feel at home. It’s clear this café cares about its community and goes above and beyond, even at the end of a long day. We’re already talking about coming back, and next time, we’ll make sure to arrive earlier so we can enjoy more of what this gem has to offer. Highly recommend!

Response to owner: Hello again! Thank you for your professional response to my fair review which gave you a 3 out of 5. You'll notice I review a lot of the places I visit. You contend I have strong opinions on what I review, but you've not specified that a lot of it is positive and the negative is filled with pretty constructive criticism.

My average score given on Google is a 4.3, so one could argue my scores are actually inflated. I delete reviews if they're a new business when some time has passed, and even increase scores when owners receive the review like an adult! It demonstrates they understand feedback and that is always a plus. You'll notice neither of those things happened here.

Thank you for offering that I come in and show you how to make a sandwich but I'll have to decline. Your bluff assumes that because I put time into reviewing your place that I am then interested to go out of my way to do your business for you. This review is here so you can decide to adjust something... or not. I made it pretty clear that you would not be receptive to feedback as long as you're bringing in the tourist money. You've only reiterated that here. Besides, I don't actually believe you would want a table full of people in the food industry dunking on you. When you hand them 3 menus you can explain how your expertise in the industry brought you this great idea.

And finally, it was a 3 out of 5. Which is an okay score for a place on a street outshined by most of it's neighbors. You could have implemented these comments in the past 8 months but I wouldn't know. My brother thinks you're okay, but he's usually wrong. Try not to get too upset.

Old review: I've visited here a lot of times with friends and family, and aside from a delicious special but temporary breakfast wrap named after what I assume is one of the cooks, I haven't had a meal that I thought was good. Others would describe it as decent. No real complaints about the waitstaff, by the way. I think the issues with this place reside in the kitchen and menu.

The restaurant is gravitated towards because it's a brunch spot with good seating. Its hard not to go back and figure out if last time was just another fluke, but I've decided there really isn't a reason to eat here. The food simply isn't very good, and you're paying a premium for that mediocre food.

The amount of menus would be hilarious but it manages to have a ton of options while feeling like there's little to choose from. I have to guess this feeling comes from several menu items being varients of each other without really providing something different.

The owner is trying to do many things poorly instead of a few things incredibly. They should be doing safe favorites really well. The CIA grad I'm sure knows this, but chefs can be so stubborn.

It's a missed opportunity that will never be learned. The menu hasn't changed much over the years and that is bound to happen when the place probably makes...

You know those little cute cafe’s you see in movies, usually the romantic comedy’s. There’s always a young beautiful woman sitting at a table by the window, reading while sipping on a cup of tea or coffee. And you think, “I want to go there”. This is THAT cafe. From the music, the atmosphere, the service, the family vibes. I absolutely love this cafe. I’m always sad when they are closed, because it always seems to be on days I need them most. This place is better than bread & company, hands down. In every aspect.

I’m a bit of a pancake connoisseur- I usually refuse to order them ANYWHERE because no one can make them like me and I hate being disappointed every time. But this place…. This place comes in a top 2 (I’m still #1 lol ) but maybe that’s unfair considering they make buttermilk pancakes and I usually don’t. Still, if I don’t feel like making pancakes, this is where I go.

I also have my favorite waitress there, I don’t want to botch the spelling of her name, but she’s the Hispanic one, with the curly dark hair and glasses. I LOVE HER! I don’t know if I’d still go as often as I do, if she were to ever leave. She’d be hard to replace. Even on their busiest of days, she’s always smiling, always helpful, always taking a second to go further than what her job description entails. But she makes me feel important and special every time I go. Whether it’s seeing me coming and getting a table ready (if possible) or just taking time out of her long busy day to ask how I’m doing.

writing this I ’m realizing, that I’ve been coming here since way before I had kids. I remember going on a date with partner there, early 2017 before we even lived in beacon. Wow lol

Anyway, I think I secretly go as often as I do, to see if I see the woman sitting by the window reading while sipping on a cup of tea or...

I have already posted this review on yelp but I must spread the word.

I thought this would be an excellent spot for a lunch date with my girlfriend. Well, I was wrong. This place was nothing but a $50 ticket to the ER.

When we walked in we were immediately surprised by the crammed atmosphere. There was barely any space for people coming in and we were asked to wait in the back for a table to be cleared. I should have listened to my gut feeling at this point to run away but I've enjoyed worse places before.

The service took forever. We waited about 15-20 minutes for water. It was not until later in our meal that I noticed a thick dark residue around the lip of the water pitcher. After another 15 minutes passed what they called food finally came out.

My girlfriend ordered the chicken pesto sandwich of which I took a bite and agreed with her that it was quite disgusting. However, this is far from the worst part.

Later that night my girlfriend told me she was having stomach cramps. We thought nothing of it at first until her cramps turned into uncontrollable vomiting. She was fading in and out of consciousness by the time the ambulance arrived.

In the ambulance I began to feel sick to my stomach but I figured it was just the nerves. I was wrong again! In the emergency room I was unable to remove my mask in time before projectile vomiting onto the wall missing the toilet. We are unsure if it was the water or the sandwich but we are sure that we will never be going back to Beacon Falls Cafe. This lunch date left us bedridden for the next day and she is still recovering two days later!

Save yourself the pain and $$$ and go...
