Jose & Willy's at the Lake — Restaurant in City of Canandaigua

Stopped in while on a ride for some quick food, the bar was practically empty and the bartender was inattentive. Took us 10 minutes to get her attention, and we asked to start with water and a food menu. She rolled her eyes and tapped a clipboard sitting on the bar and smirked at us without a word. We put in a food order, and we were asked if we wanted to start a tab, we said yes and handed over a card. We were present with a receipt with 4 beers that we did not order. It took another 10 minutes to get her attention as she ignored my “excuse me ma’am” multiple times. When she finally came over to us, we presented her with the issue and she told us she would void the transaction, she never came back over with an updated receipt. We waited another 20 minutes with no food ( a total of 40 minutes spent here now) I went in to ask for an updated receipt and she said, oh well I had to void the whole transaction so it hasn’t been paid for. We had sat at the bar waiting for her to come back with said receipt and she never did, nor did she tell us that we had to pay again, or that our food orders weren’t in. I paid in cash, another 30 minutes of waiting and we still have no food. I go inside to check on the food and apparently the kitchen has no record of our food that has been paid for twice at this point. The owner said the order was in with the kitchen now after almost 1 1/2 hours of waiting, and back and forth with a bartender who had no idea what she was doing, and lied to us multiple times. I strongly do not recommend this place. On February 8 or 9th around 12am the bartender lady comes up to me so rudely telling me to leave without asking for my ID telling me I’m 12. Yelling to the bar I am not 21. She was accusing me of not being 21 without even checking for my ID. There was no one outside to check for an ID. I was not even drinking. I was just standing there minding my own business and she comes up to me with attitude. I did end up getting my ID and showing her my ID. Her approach me to me was unacceptable and rude. She has no right to accuse me. All she had to do was ask to see my ID in a kind way but instead she came up to me trying to kick me out without asking for my ID. I will be telling my friends to stop going there and telling everyone I know that Jose and Willys is not a friendly place to go to. WORST SERVICE EVER !!!! MY wife and I stopped in on:08/05/2018 @ 1:30 PM for cold drinks and full lunch. Staff inside were rude and never even acknowledged us for 15 minutes...[one bar maid and one waitress]. We finally just sat down and waited until bar maid reluctantly walked over and took our order. Took another 10 minutes to get 2 iced teas. We then placed our simple order and ended up waiting, waiting, waiting until 2:15 PM. When we asked where our order was the staff was annoyed and acted bothered. We continued waiting until 2:40 PM and simply left money at our table for our iced teas and left. TOTALLY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and no it was NOT busy at all....perhaps 20 people [locals drinking at the bar and laughing and joking with staff while we waited. We will NEVER return.
