Green Street Deli Cafe — Restaurant in City of Hudson

Second time I've visited this establishment. I have to say that it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, in my eyes the man who prepares the food has some major skills. They have a very extensive menu from chicken cordon bleu to basic subs and sandwiches. The first time I was there I had a chicken bacon and ranch sandwich on a hard roll fresh made off the grill. It was everything you would expect and more. Tonight I had a simple ham and swiss sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. And, then I wanted fries for something warm to eat. However, they were out due to a supplier issues. Instead I ordered a hot side of mac and cheese. I was a little disappointed to see it premade sitting in a deli case like at a shopping center and then being asked if I wanted it warmed up. To my surprise it was actually perfect reheated. It was cheesy and creamy with just a touch of garlic flavor. It hit the spot. I guess my only complaint would be on pricing. For a ham and cheese sub and a side of mac and cheese it was almost $18. I guess it's been a while since I've been into a sub shop. Keep up the great food! Maybe look at your pricing. Otherwise great job. Great customer service, and really great cooking skills. My one other observation that I will throw out there is the rest of the inside of the store looks like a mom and pop convenience store with small amounts of grocery items, a small beverage section....tons and tons of pipes and smoke parifinalia....and of course lotto. All of which was not of interest to me but if it's what you are looking for they have it in spades. Definitely...

I stop by often as I work nearby for drinks and snacks throughout my work day. When we had an upcoming event that I knew this was the place I wanted to cater! The sandwiches and salad were delicious and they supplied various condiments and dressings for every appetite. The pasta salad is the best I have ever had!! Most of all, the staff always greets me with a smile and they are such great people. I 10/10 recommend stopping by whether you have an event coming up or you are just looking for a drink/snack and...

I’ve been going to this deli for years quite regularly, they have always made the best breakfast sandwiches. I really don’t know anywhere else in the area where you can get such a simple, cheap and delicious bacon egg & cheese.

Now they have a new cook and I swear to Google, I just ate the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. And it’s less than $6!
